This hotel should be max $50 a night, then I could at least justify getting what I paid for! I travel over the US alot and this place is jacked right up. The hotel is easy to access off the highway but the room was dark, dingy and DIRTY. The mattress did not even touch the makeshift “headboard” so there was a large gap where your pill is supposed to ho so it would fall through. Well I made the mistake of looking what was under thIs gap…. Dust dirt drywall dust or paint chips. It was uncomfortable. Luckily I had a pillow sheet and blanket in the car to use Since the sheet was dirty as well. The floors were sticky so I assume a bare minimum cleaning goes into these rooms. The bathroom was very small and dingy I was not comfortable to shower. It’s not hard for a large hotel corporation to update their rooms! Not sure why these hotels think updating carpet to vinyl will magically make their rooms better! Next time I will try the Sleep Inn(which was very busy now I know why) or just pay more to sleep at a better hotel in the area. Don’t bother trying to save a few bucks, they’re all jacked up knowing it is snowbird season I suppose, so just spend the extra money to stay at a nicer more cared for hotel! Little things go a long way when people have been driving for days and need to rest!

I thought the front staff was very helpful. We had a long day and the room we were assigned had a dirty bathtub and we needed to shower. We notified the front staff and the problem corrected and everything else was great.

Heat was on and mini fridge was cold! That’s a first! We have meds for the fridge so really happy as often fridges don’t work well at all. Front desk staff were excellent and room comfortable. Pet fee was $15 - very reasonable.

Perfect halfway spot between Ohio and Myrtle Beach. Weather was cold and really appreciated being able to smoke in our room!

I checked in remotely and we arrived around 4 pm as planned. There were almost no other cars in the parking lot. I went inside to get our room keys and register but asked first to use the restroom. The desk clerk said the toilet was broken. So I got our room key and drove around to the room. There was a junk car in the parking lot with one of its front axles broken off and a big dent in the rear quarter panel. I entered the room to use the toilet and when I turned the light on, there was a roaring noise from the exhaust fan that was deafening and if I turned the fan switch off, there was no light in the bathroom. I returned to the front desk and asked to be transferred to another room. Five minutes later the new room's temperature was still freezing and we couldn't figure out how to make the heater work. The desk clerk (who was very sympathetic) came to the room, apologized for the inconvenience and turned it on, but 5 minutes later the room still felt "cold" and the heater made a very loud noise when it was running. My wife said she wasn't comfortable there so we ended up asking for a refund and continuing our road trip for another 4 hours until we arrived home. There is no way that this property looked anything at all like the photos on their website! The reviews from "previous travelers" extolled how wonderfully clean the place was. They were obviously mistaken! This Super 8 motel was not a welcoming place to stay. My advice --STAY AWAY!

Super clean and comfortable with a wonderful, welcoming and helpful staff (Super Southern Hospitality) You can tell they are trying to keep up with repairs and renovations as they are able to. Have stayed here multiple times over the years as a great half-way point to Myrtle Beach from Ohio (and back). LOVE being able to smoke IN OUR ROOM **in this day of NO smoking rules**…..ESPECIALLY with the INCLEMENT WEATHER! This was & is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Will certainly stay again if for no other reason than this!!!!
