As always, very friendly staff! Bathroom floors could use new linoleum and shower real shower curtains but otherwise very nice room every stay. They always accommodate my request for downstairs room, which I appreciate. Just do NOT go for a walk off the property after dark, there's a lot of creepy people lingering about.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Y in Yakima before without any issues, which is why we chose to stop here again while traveling through Washington. Unfortunately, this visit wasn’t quite the same. We checked in just after midnight and discovered there was no hot water. Since we were exhausted, we figured we’d just shower in the morning - but the water temperature was still cold. We also noticed quite a few fruit flies in the room, even though we hadn’t brought in any food or perishables. Because it was close to checkout, there wasn’t an alternative option to shower, and we were only offered a $20 refund (about 16% of the total stay). While I understand things can go wrong occasionally, Washington State law does require lodging to provide adequate hot and cold running water, so this was disappointing. Hotel Y has usually been a great place to stay, but based on this experience, I’ll probably try somewhere else next time.

Excellent reception (Brandon), clean and good sized room w/ king bed. Coffee maker, fridge, m/w, and tv all worked well. Pool looked great, although I didn't try it. Only minus was mattress was harder than we like.
