Only restaurant on property required reservations, and was totally booked. They referred us to restaurant at adjoining property (Wiley’s) which we had to drive to, and food was terrible. Only served fast food, and ran out of entrees by 8PM. No wifi available, no TV in room. Maid did not clean bathroom or replace towels, and did not replace or clean the coffee cups in room. Totally disappointed with this hotel, especially given the high price we paid.

Pretty horrible experience. Cabin was pretty dirty with a bathroom was filthy. Staff at the dining room has a horrible attitude. Two days in a row they didnt my party of 2 saying they were fully booked even though the restaurant was half empty. They say they are reservation only but claim to not have availability when you do call. So essentially the only dinner option available on property is the bar which has a total of 3 appetizers available, no entres. I couldnt wait to leave that place. Location is good though

beautiful location but very difficult to find if you arrive when it is dark, no sign when you enter the park. the dining option is the hotel restaurant and boy do they have to improve the food quality. the best was the view of the lake and the excellent reception staff

We were given a cabin rather than the hotel. It was not clear when I booked that it was the case. Moving forward, the learning is not to book places where they have cabins because that’s where will end up.

It was ok.. cabins are in disrepair and the grounds are unsightly … looks like a neglected field with zero upkeep. Cabins were adequate and over priced… no services

There were weeds and mold on the outside. The front desk was only ok-did not feel very welcome. There was no WiFi and we had to go across the street to Lake Lodge lobby to get slow internet. Why did Lake Lodge have internet and not Yellowstone Lake hotel? We had to wait to get a dinner table even though we had a reservation. I would not recommend this hotel to my family or friends. It was expensive for what we received.

checked in about 10 pm - staff wasn't very forthcoming with informaiton about where things were like ice, restaurantes etc. - we were in the "cabins" which were quite a distance from any amenities, had to figure it out. Cabins were adequate and everything was clean and worked.

There is wifi coverage but it is not available to guests. I booked two rooms with the same confirmation number, and the front desk manager was very unprofessional. He checked for several hours and only gave me the key at 11pm.

Located in Yellowstone National Park with a view of the lake. Excellent for anyone looking to explore the area. The accommodation was perhaps a little tired in places for those who worry a lot about such things, but perfectly suitable for a short stay.

While the setting at Lake Yellowstone Hotel is beautiful the cabin accommodation is quite run down and small for the price. Also the hotel would benefit from additional facilities, for example fitness, spa, games room for children.
