Hotel in guter Verkehrslage.

Pros: Die ruhige Lage in Stadtnähe mit der Möglichkeit hausintern diverse Badearten und Sauna zu geniessen.
Cons: Bademäntel gehören unserer Meinung nach zum Zimmerservice in einem SPA-Hotel.
Location: Nahe der Stadtgrenze zu Catania. Ohne Auto kann man, ausser einem Spaziergang ans Meer, nichts Besonderes unternehmen.
Eignet sich als Ausgangspunkt für Ausfahrten in der ganzen Osthälfte der Insel. Zentrum von Catania resch erreichbar. Rasche Ausfahrten zur Autobahn und zur Tangentiale (Umfahrung des Stadtzentrums). Grosser privater Parkplatz beim Hotel. Vielseitige SPA-Anlage im Hotel, die zeitweise fast überfrequentiert ist (übers Weekend). Mangel: Hotelgäste müssen den Badmantel gegen eine Kaution von 30€ ausleihen; das würde unserer Meinung nach zum Service des Hotelzimmers gehören, zumal der Eintritt in den SPA-Bereich extra bezahlt werden muss. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig, etwas von der Hauptstrasse (SS 114) zurückversetzt. Das Essen ist sehr erlesen und schön angerichtet.

Clean ans modern spa hotel

Nice and superclean hotel. Friendly staff. Not close to the Catania city center. Couple of nice local restaurants nearby if you weren't interested in the hotel's restaurant. Also a supermarket quite close. You might want to rent a car, if you wanted to see more of Catania and east coast. Hotel tries to be higher class hotel for wealthier italians who stayed there for a couple of days wirhout a need of seeing more of Catania. Somehow I got the feeling that foreigners are not necessarily needed there.
