The staff went out of their way to be helpful! It was a school holiday, so Taxi’s were hard to get. We walked to the hotel from the Train Station across the river. When we discovered that the hotel restaurant was booked & we would have to walk to another one, the front desk clerk actually got his car & drove us there! We very much appreciated this. This hotel is within close walking distance of 2 castles & a beautiful shopping area. The food was excellent, the hotel very comfortable & the staff were more than welcoming.

This property exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful room and the staff were friendly and so helpful. My husband and I decided to eat dinner at the hotel and couldn’t have asked for a more magnificent meal. It was INCREDIBLE!!

Beautiful property in superb location, walking distance to all attractions/shops/restaurants. The stature of the property was not matched by the staff service levels. Breakfast was limited and challenging, albeit in a beautiful outdoor courtyard. Bar service was barely adequate. Beautiful hotel, full moon during my stay I can view from my room. Walking distance to Chateau d’Amboise, shopping streets and market plus carrefour. Most hair salon are closed due to holiday season for this period. Castle is so beautiful at night, full moon over the castle, charming!!

Unusually place to stay. Lovely gardens and pool.

We were in the converted stable. It was hot and the air conditioner could not cool it. Sleeping the first night was miserable. The 2nd day we got a fan from the manager and it was much better, The breakfast area was delightful and the buffet was fine.
