We got to the hotel a little early and they let us go up to the room since if had been cleaned. My husband and I were jet lagged from our ling trip, it was so nice being able to take a nap and getting the rest I so desperately needed. Thank you

Having the free shuttle service to the airport was a bonus and a massive help. The shuttle pick up was timely and drivers always very friendly. Restaurant or breakfast was a bit too expensive. Our room had an amazing welcoming display on the tv screen. The bathroom was excellent. Dust around the room was a concern and the fabric chairs need a deep clean. Some food stuff on the wall when we got there was unsightly but covered by the net curtain. Lamp had a bulb missing. Room 439. No free water, but a vending machine available on main reception area. Even thought we had to check out by 11am, the hotel very kindly held our luggage in a safe room until our flight time as we went out for a Few hours. Many thanks to the staff at Bastion.

Convenient for a one night stay before our flight out. Shuttle service is fantastic. Question re: drinking water. The hotel has signs stating there drinking water is excellent but yet they will not serve it in the restaurant 🤔

Changed the room twice. First room had smoke smell even though smoking is not allowed. Second room toilet was stinking. We put up with this hotel since it was just a night. Not worth of it’s more than one night. You could find better hotels nearby.

The only issue i have is there were only coffee machine/pods in our room and im a tea drinker, which is whybi gave 4 stars. I didnt mention this has we were out early each day so dont know if it would have been rectified. Room was spacious and we loved watching the planes arrive and depart on an evening as we were on the side of the airport. Staff were polite and helpful when checking in.

Lovely little place to stay near the airport with a fantastic restaurant. A short 5-10 minute drive from shopping areas. Definitely had to take a ride because the only walkable restaurant is McDonalds..

Room 522 is located by the lifts which in itself wouldn’t be a problem. The problem is there is a door leading to then that’s attached to the wall of room 522 and every single resident just lets it swing shut with a bang and it reverberates through the room. Had it when trying to get to sleep and then almost continuously from around 04:40. Couple that with loud talking and thin door, meant for rather poor sleep. I didn’t go to reception as was already in bed and had hoped it was a one off- clearly not.
