Everything went well, and was as we expected it to be. Great location, a smallish room, but in hotels of this vintage that’s what to expect. The fact that there was an elevator was important. The breakfast was above average. We had our window open the whole time to keep the room temp down I believe there is no AC which could be an issue for some in the summer months.

For the price range it was perfect! The room was CLEAN! Any reviews that say otherwise don’t understand that in some areas water dries leaving a whitish residue after cleaning. It was close to everything we wanted to see and the breakfast was amazing in a beautiful room. Not easily accessible by wheelchair.

Location is about 15 minute walk from Central Station and its in a very good area without a lot of noise. The staff is very friendly and was very helpful to me with my stay on this trip..I would stay at Hotel Library again

Would choose to stay here again if in Amsterdam

The location was GREAT. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, though not a lot of room to keep suitcases. All in all a great stay. And fairly economical.
