Great hotel

The hotel was better than I expected! It was comparable to any big hotel chains. Clean, comfortable room, great breakfast, great location. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool being closed when it looked like it was in working condition. I can't ever tell if sometimes hotels do this on purpose. The only complaint I had was that one of the front desk employees was unfriendly and unwelcoming, but the rest were helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean overall and I would stay there again without question.

This hotel has recently changed management, and it's clearly early in the process. Room numbers are written in Sharpie (apparently the old ones had the logo of the previous manager), hot water was a bit spotty. The breakfast was ample and well staffed. The location on the North Campus isn't real obvious, but it was only 7-8 minutes to get to the central campus.

Unexpectedly surprised

The hotel was kinda retro & by the parking lot when we 1st drove up was kinda off putting from outside. But once we checked in our room, it was clean and all reg amenities were stocked. The hotel cleaning staff, worked their magic. The pool was misleading temp. wise cause when you walk back there it's pretty humid making you think the pool was heated; it was Not. It was freezing cold. But so needed after all the walking & driving we had did. Both the night & day check in staff were great! Loved the coffee & breakfast. Just wished the juice machine worked. It was also very quiet.
