We were in the middle of a 6 day camping trip and wanted to stay at a hotel so we could shower and do laundry. When we got up the shower didn't work at all. No one in office to report. Very disappointed.

Worn but serviceable

The DK Hotel is tired and worn. The rooms are large and quirky. The bathroom and bedroom were spotless. If you just need a comfortable bed for the night, this place is a good value.

No ac, room was old and outdated, smelled, ceiling fan was so loud, windows had to be opened and at midnight there were random people standing in a parking lot outside the bathroom window drinking and cutting up. Would not stay here again.

Disappointing.

Helpful friendly staff. Property seriously in need of renovation. Did not have high expectations but still was disappointed with carpet stains, mold, peeling paint. Beds did appear to be clean at least on surface. Not many options in this area but we wouldn’t stay again.

Not clean. Some basic tune ups, like fresh paint or cleaning the door and fan blades would go a long way. Shades on the windows would help, too.

The motel is in a good location. This place is cute. However it needs major remodeling done. The room we were in had electrical issues in the bathroom. Sometimes the light was bright and sometimes it was very dim. Also the bathroom door would stick at the top and you had to help the person get out. We tried to watch TV but the cable wasn't set up and the wifi was to weak to use. I would have went to the office and asked for help setting up the cable but the lady really didn't want to be bothered and she let you know. As for the beds... you either sit down lightly and slow or you're getting bucked off! The beds jiggle like a bowl of jello (was fun until you try to sleep). Also was told that the air conditioner was new. Great! It was definitely the loudest air conditioner I've ever heard. Plus good luck with the parking!

The setting is great , with tall trees providing shade and cooling in the evening. This is an older motel and lacks amenities like AC, ice machine, and coffee maker, but room has a table and chairs and a good refrigerator and microwave so we happily made our morning coffee and tea and ate our evening snacks. Beds were OK, though when one person moved, the other person felt it. Overhead fan in one room kept half our party cool, and open windows and cross draft cooled the other room sufficiently for sleep. Shower pressure was good, but stall could use a repainting. Linens were clean.

Staff was VERY friendly, probably the friendliest I have ever dealt with when I have checked into a hotel over the past 38 years of traveling. The rooms is rustic and quaint. we would stay there again if we ever return to Arco.

The room was clean, and the hotel manager was very nice. The building is old, so the room could use some renovations, but it is more than functional. The only real issue is the bed. The mattress is awful; it’s full of dips and lumps and creaks loudly with any movement, and the pillows are hard and flat.
