Beautiful Okoboji Poolside Vacation Cabin at Bridges

This cabin was completed in January 2017. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath with a 2-stall garage - parking for 5 vehicles total. Over 1,700 total square feet, making this cabin one of the biggest cabins on the resort.

The cabin is fully furnished with everything you will need for your stay, you can come and just enjoy yourself. There is room to accommodate up to 14 people. Subject to the a water park hours (which you can find on bridges bay website), the rate includes 6 daily passes to the Water Park for each day you are staying the night there.

The living room area has a 50 inch, flat screen, smart TV which has the ability to stream Netflix and Hulu with an account login. There is also free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and nice appliances: dishwasher, side by side refrigerator/freezer with water dispenser & ice maker, oven, microwave, crock pot, coffee pot and keurig, toaster, griddle, blender, highchair, and a large walk-in pantry.

Master bedroom on main floor has a king size bed, large walk-in closet, as well as a master bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Washer and Dryer as well as the half-bath are all on the main floor.

2 other bedrooms upstairs with another full bathroom with bathtub/shower upstairs as well. 1 bedroom has a king size bed and the other bedroom has 2 twin size bunk beds. A pack and play is provided as well as wash cloths, hand towels, as well as large towels provided in each bathroom. Basic toiletries are provided for a short stay however if you have an extended stay you will have to provide what you need beyond that.

Upstairs also provides a large loft area with two futons, a 40-inch TV with a DVD player.

Rear patio which is very close to the neighborhood pool. The patio includes a gas grill, patio table, as well as many patio chairs.

Great vacation feel with lots of windows and vaulted ceilings.

The cabin is within' walking distance to the scenic and private, fully stocked fishing pond.

The Waterfront Events Center, Blue Water Pizza Company, and Waters Edge Grille are onsite. Also, Bracco Waterfront Café & Island Bar is onsite with live music on summer weekends.

Brand new in 2020: new outdoor pool with swim up bar, & two large slides. The Fitness Center & Kids Arcade, all newly redone in 2020, is located at Bridges Bay Resort.

*Sorry, no smoking, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and no pets. You must be at least 25 years of age to book. If extra cleaning is required, part of the deposit will be kept.

IMPORTANT: No bachelor or bachelorette groups and no or other parties allowed. Inappropriate behavior is not allowed or tolerated. This is a family oriented place. If security kicks you out because of a party, you will not be refunded rent or any fees. No exceptions!

Family vacation

This was a great place to stay. Was nice and clean and had the pool right outside. We had 11 and was not crowded except for cooking. It was narrow between sink and stove counters but its doable. Would have liked bigger pots and pans, and more plates and glasses. Not complaining because it wasn't terrible but for larger groups you have to do dishes to eat the next meal. We did buy paper plates and stuff to get by.

The location of this cabin is excellent. It has shared swimming pool in backyard. The kids with our group loved the loft area and slept and played there. The water park at resort is a definite plus. There were minor issues lighting was bad, bad railing on bunk bed, and outdoor grill was in bad shape. The good outweighed any issues. We have been renting condos and cabins for 8 years. There are so many things to do in the area. My 7 and 10 year old granddaughters said they do not like it they LOVE it !!! Definitely great family time.

We liked the layout of the cabin but it was hard to regulate the cooling i.e. froze in the lower bedroom and too hot in the loft area & bedrooms. There were not enough sheets for single beds in the loft. We were so excited to have the pool in our backyard. They could replace the frying pans in the kitchen. Could increase the speed on the internet since there were so many people trying to access their electronic devices. Very slow uploads. Overall we felt the cabin was very nice!

The pool right outside our condo was great. It was heated.

We arrived on Sunday and had no problems getting into the unit. We did find garbage scattered around the house. We cleaned up as best we could. We also noted a safety issue and passed these minor issues on to owner. Overall we had an awesome time. Thank you

Great property and very roomy for large families/groups. It was unfortunate that the pool nearby was not open, but we understand that the Bridges Bay Resort is working on this and it is only temporary. We look forward to future stays.

Comfortable stay for our family

The house was a great property. There were plenty of beds and rooms for our 8 member family. The bunk beds were a little squeaky in the kids room, but overall we’re still comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and always appreciate a good sized kitchen. The appliances were newer and easy to use. We used the laundry everyday, again easy to use. Property owner was very friendly and urgent on replies. We really appreciated the stay, we were disappointed the community pool was closed, but ended up being ok.

Perfect Vacation home

We stayed at this property during Labor Day Weekend and it was a perfect spot. There is a pool right in the backyard with quick access to docks and a couple restaurants. The house was super clean and had all the amenities that is needed during our stay. We had no issues and would definitely recommend this house if you are coming up to Okoboji. Candi is super easy to talk to and responds right away if there are any issues

Great location!

The property was perfect for us as it had plenty of space for the whole family. We were a short walk away from the resort which had the indoor and outdoor waterpark, plus it was a close drive to the lake to where we rented our boat. The check in process was easy and the property was clean and well organized. Would recommend staying here!

I believe the cleaning service need to be retrained.alot of dust on doors and furniture,washing machine had mold around the rubber seal.had to go get some bleach to get rid of the smell and clean it,We tried to use grill but it was nasty and rusting out,we went to Walmart and bought a small cheap one to use,Location was good for grandkids to go swimming.
