Got there and the first room we got smelly like someone had just smoked in it. They gave me another room and then never updated it in the system so I had to go back down stairs to get my keys working again. The shower broke and then water wouldn’t shut off. Not worth the money I paid to stay there. Definitely won’t be going back

I met the owner who is exceedingly gracious. Front desk staff also very helpful and kind. The motel itself is old and needs revamping. Things were nonfunctional (ice machine and water fountain -the front desk did provide me with ice from a bag ). The room has areas that need fixing, bathroom fixtures in shower are loose and water is getting behind them so mold, drawer on nightstand won’t stay closed, the mattress’ are on a metal platform which creeks when moving through throughout the night. Cleanliness was satisfactory, understandably challenging in an older hotel, but inside of the drawers needs scrubbed out. Lamp shades are loose because nuts are used instead of a finials. Wi-Fi was good. TV functioned. The proximity to a very busy intersection makes it loud late into the night and perhaps more so if you stay on the southside. I also understand this motel was purchased two years ago and they are working on the facility a little bit at a time. I did feel my car was safe in the parking lot and I was safe as a solo traveler.

the bed was on a metal box that made a loud noise/squeek every time a person sat on it or got in the bed or out of it. the tv did not work until a staff person came and fixed it the breakfast was good the staff were very friendly there was no elevator or cart to take luggage to the second floor so we had to carry it in the rain up steps.

Where shall I start, the king bed in our room was on a metal base and it was so very noisy. Even the slightest movement and it made noise. Also the faucet in the shower was coming out of the wall so it was loose and hard to turn on. Water was only lukewarm at best. The lock on the door was also loose. Breakfast juice machine was out of order as was the water. Will not stay here again.

Overall we had a good stay. The room was clean, spacious, and in general quiet at night. The bed was comfortable but the mattress sat on a metal frame so when one moved it sounded like you were rolling on steel barrels. The bathroom shower and sink faucets need to be replaced as they were loose and difficult to control water temp. The breakfast was good enough and changed daily. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
