The place was really sketchy. On our second night someone tried to forcefully break into our room while we were sleeping. Terrifying experience, we ended up checking out early because we were too scared to be there any longer.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotels location was perfect for our needs. While it is an older property and could use some updates we were impressed by the cleanliness. They offer free breakfast with hot and cold options. The only complaint would be it was rather loud from street noise and neighboring rooms. I would stay here again if in area.

The property is older, but the owners/management obviously take pride in the care of the hotel. I loved the fountains they have placed around. I had to cut my stay short by a night. I fully anticipated paying for the last night, but the manager insisted on refunding it. That made a big impression on me. This was my first time staying here, but not my last. I will definitely stay again.

I strongly recommend this hotel for staying Asheville , for guests who want to safe ,close access for downtown, cleanness room with very reasonable price! Yes it is not pretty new property but this has lots of advantages especially to access Asheville local downtown.
