Super clean and great staff. Quirky decoration in the rooms was nice. Walls were a bit thin. We could hear our neighbors snoring but the front desk offers ear plugs. Overall great stay.

Disappointed in Astoria

This was supposed to be a great stay but unfortunately, it wasn’t. The heat in the room was on before we checked in and it never cooled off. There was mold in the bathroom and the place was not clean. We were upset and disappointed. We could not stay the second night and the hotel wouldn’t refund any of the second night regardless of the serious issues with the room. Mold is no joke.

Had a night with tweakers in adjacent rooms. Astoria took care of a traffic accident and someone acting crazy shortly after we checked in. Dirt under our bed...bathroom was pretty gross. I don't recommend

Kind, Considerate, but Showing it's Age

Certainly has a fresh coat of paint, and the managers have tried to clean it up to fit the theme (which was super cute btw) but the tub and a few other spots, while I'm sure had been cleaned didn't look like it. That's just the kinda thing that happens with older motels/hotels and I wasn't too bothered by it. I also really appreciated the staff, they were really kind, and there were specific instructions about being kind to the folks who live in the tourist destination in town. Which I found to be very considerate, and I admire greatly.

Retro theme and Retro Annoyance negating the stay

It was was retro theme but there were two blemishes , the Tv didn’t work and there was a whirring noise every 20 minutes , extremely annoying when we kept interrupting our sleep . There was no phone in the room to call the front desk as well as no one there

Cute place with the 50's theme in the room. Just be aware that they allow dogs. We stayed in Room 113 and as soon as we opened the door we were hit with that musky dog smell. Thrn when i put my suitcase on the floor it was immediately coated in long dog hairs. So someone didnt vacuum well. Also they need to shampoo the carpets on occasion so the smell doesnt build up like it did. We like dogs but we dont want to smell dog. We were just there for 1 night so we mentioned it on our check out. The desk clerk ssid they would've gladly changed our room. I have no doubt they would have. The staff are very nice there. There was 1 dog that barked for a least an hour straight too...so if you dont mind dog smells and barking then stay here. I loved the location. They offer a light breakfast but Pig N Pancake is literally steps away so we ate there and the food is great!

Quirky, fun decor, slow internet.

Quirky motel with a fun 50’s feel. The walls were a bit thin, but everyone quieted down by 10 PM. The internet seemed to be also from the 50’s (non-existent at times), and that was frustrating as I needed to get some work done. Great views of the bridge.
