Nice to have a 1 bedroom suite with a door. A plus when traveling with kids. The pool was nice, hard to keep clean all the time with trees around. Pretty quiet hotel, didnt hear any other guests except at breakfast.

The bed was so comfortable, cleanliness of my room every time I left and the friendliness of the staff made my solo ATL trip exceptional. After long days in orientation with my son’s college, coming back to the Holiday Inn was a relief because I was greeted so warmly and my room felt like home.

I like that it was comfortable. The floor staff was wonderful. I didn't like that I could not check in early after working all day the day before and then driving twelve hours to get there. They could have made an exception. After all, we check in at 3 and have to checkout at 11. Seems like we make exceptions. They could do a little touchups. My sister door did not properly work, the bathroom door was not on the track so she could not close it, little paint details. The elevators had issues, which makes it a little scary. Seems like when you roll out of the bed, you roll into the bathroom. Very close quarters. Just minor details to upgrade the place. It seems like a lot of complaining but overall, I was comfortable and it was nice. I may be still angry that they would not let me check in at least about 1. I had been working all week.

Breakfast was good. Rooms way too small for comfort! 2 full beds. Both my kids could barely fit in a bed comfortable. Shower stall with toilet was separate from the bathroom sink which was constantly leaking. The shower stall was roomy, but nowhere to put your bath items, ex. Soap, rag, shampoo & conditioner. The hallways were warm and halls dingy; it could definitely use an update. First time we opened our room door there was a strong chemical odor. Not sure if it was a cleaner or insecticide. There was maybe 2 ft of floor space between the bed and the table where TV was. Beds were very comfortable but rooms way too cramped for more than a few hours of stay. Area/location was pleasant.
This is the first bed you walk to. To the left is the unattached sink then a sliding door to the toilet and shower stall.
Beds side by side, on the other side of the furthest bed was the window outside...you could barely walk between bed and window to get into the bed.

Atlanta visit

This is an older property so it could use some renovations however I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will book here again. It was conveniently located. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a nice. There’s ample free parking.

We had a great stay at this location. At first we were worried because of the reviews about the cars being broke into. But we were reassured and we saw first hand the parking lot was well lit and security was out every night walking the lot!! The staff were extremely kind and personable!! Our room was very very clean. The cleaning staff were kind and cleaned each day. I do believe some of the things need to be replaced or updated. Both dryers were out of order, the pool needed to cleaned, the pillows were very flat, it was like you weren't even sleeping on pillows, and some of the bedroom furniture looked like it had wax buildup and chipped wood. But other than those minor things we had a great stay.

The check in was great, we got there early but Mrs. Stephanie made sure we were checked in with no problem. The hospitality was great from everyone and the breakfast was a plus. We did have a minor issue but the manager and everyone involved insured us that everything was ok.
