Convenient to gas South Arena

Very nice hotel I would recommend it especially if you’re going to the gas South Arena. We’ve been to several concerts there and every time we attend a concert we stay at this hotel. It’s never let us down.

Hotel is older. Had a weird smell. One of the elevators was out of service, so, for a full hotel getting up and dnd down took forever! Disappointed that when we got in at 11 we were not allowed to pirchase a beer to take to our room. Their excuse was because there were to many minors in the hotel. Not our problem we were not traveling with any minors. Really in good thing is its walking distance to Gas Light Arena.

The second star is for the staff…engaged, friendly and accommodating…although perhaps less-so the checkout assistant. However, I have never been bitten so much by bugs in any hotel room in the world…and I travel extensively. After I was bitten the first night, I reported it to housekeeping and they made a note to deal with it. When I got back to my room, the bed was barely re-made (which is usual for this hotel I noticed) but more importantly, it indicated they hadn’t even changed the bedding, let alone “treated” anything. The next night I slept in the other bed and it was ok. Their lack of concern and action for the situation would discourage me from ever staying here again…even for free!

We recently stayed here for a concert at the Gas South Arena. The hotel's location is perfect for the venue, offering a pleasant and safe walk that makes it easy to avoid parking and traffic hassles. It was not good at all. Fire alarm went off 1:30 in the morning and after that no elevator didn't work so me and my family use stairs all the time and our room was at 4th floor. We still had pain in our legs.

Bad Timing!

My only problem was the lack of compensation due to the recent events of Friday, August 30 at 1 AM. With the elevator being out of order during the majority of our stay of the trip, and the fact that one of my friends who was riding with me for the trip has health condition and he gets tired real quickly, and we receive no form of compensation being that we got disturbed from our sleep in the middle of the night, knowing that we had a busy day in the morning. No compensation whatsoever was given. With the elevator being out of service, our time at the hotel was unpleasant.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good, I didn't like the fact that security verifys room number before you can eat. Front desk staff was very helpful with knowledge of the area.
