Poor customer service

We booked a room as we were relocating across the country. We left Oklahoma with the hopes of making it half way to FL and stopping in Atlanta for rest. Well we ran into car trouble in Alabama and was too tired to keep going to ATL, so we had no choice but to stay in AL for the night. It was already 2am. Well when we explained this to hotels.com who then tried to get us a refund with the hotel, they denied it resulting in a $130 loss. This is bad customer service as the circumstances were out of our control.

The staff was nice and allowed me to check-in early. Their breakfast was good. But, they had a cockroach infestation. I couldn’t put food in fridge or leave it on the counter. This caused me a lot of paranoia. I give it 2.5 stars.
