Welcome to the Elite Estate by ABOVE Vacation Residences. This gorgeous Lake Austin home is where your family will enjoy the pool/spa with lakefront views, a lake “beach,” sand volleyball court, sport court with basketball and pickleball, outdoor grill with dining area, and outdoor living with fireplace and TV. Inside- a Home Theater and Game Room stocked with pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey, foosball, arcade games and more! Just 15 miles from the heart of downtown. With high-speed wifi, this home is perfect for remote school/work. This property is regularly set for 16 guests, but, with homeowner approval, can host as many as 17 guests with luxury Frontgate beds which would also be set with ABOVE standard luxury linens. Additional fees may apply. All guests must be pre-approved to rent this estate. A full guest list will be required. Boat slip and/or boat tie-up may be available by approval and with a fee. Two garage spots available upon request with TESLA charger.

Beautiful home

Pros: the home is beautiful and has room for all your needs. The pool and sports court were great for the kids. Luke the manager was very responsive and did a great job trying to resolve issues we had during our trip. Cons: there are a lot of rules, additional fees that for me someone who has used VRBO for many years were beyond unnecessary to try and charge when you are paying the price that they charged. Unfortunately during our stay the yard people were cutting for over an hour one morning keeping everyone out of the backyard. Then immediately after the pool people came and did the cleaning but then had to add chemicals causing us a delay in using the pool for one of our days there. The rooms were not cooling at night so we had to get an AC guy out there.

Excellent accommodations and amenities. The material negatives were 1) the large number of rules and penalties fees felt a bit worrisome. 2) the fact that the owner left a car in the garage and thus required the garage to be off limits making it inconvenient to unpack and repack carrying luggage and groceries the long way out the front door to the cars. 3) considering the hefty rental price, felt a bit nickeled and dimed by the fees for heating the pool. 4) No life jackets and paddles for the kayaks when we arrived and did not receive them until afternoon of next day.

Great Austin Property!

What a great experience! House feels very homey, like you're staying at your favorite rich Aunt's house! Hah! Had a great time. Patrick, the house manager, was very accommodating in assisting with anything we needed during our stay. Hot tub gets very hot, so just keep an eye on that! Can't wait for our next family reunion here next year! :)

Perfect set up for large group!

My family had the best long weekend! We had 8 adults and 7 kids (7 months - 14 years old) and everyone had the best time! Beautiful pool, basketball court, lots of pool toys, lily pad for the lake - truly something for everyone!

30th Birthday Party success!

We booked Austin for my wife’s 30th Birthday celebration and the house fit our every need! The house had plenty of room for all 16 guests, lots of outdoor and indoor games and a great pool to lounge in. The only bummer was that the outdoor tv didn’t work, but everything else went smoothly.

Best VRBO experience yet

Above team was amazing and so was the house / location. We regularly do VRBO at higher end many good experiences but this one differentiated even still. Highly recommend boat coming to house to pick up family for rides for ~4 hours (ski/wakeboard and/or pontoon).

Much Needed Escape on the Water

After putting small celebration moments on hold for COVID, this property offered us a safe and beautiful way to finally get together! While we had a relatively small group of friends (<10), this house and property can handle many more with ease and was perfect for our desire to have room to spread out and each have private rooms/bathrooms. Hot tub, heated pool, paddle board and kayak were all put to great use all weekend.

Stunning property with world-class property management!

It's truly a beautiful property. You really can't beat it. I brought my senior leadership team for a weekend retreat. No one wanted to leave! We ended up ordering in most meals so we could enjoy the property, instead of eating at restaurants. Also, the property management made our stay particularly special. I've rented lots of homes, and this property manager was far and away the best I've worked with. She was simply extraordinary. Thank you to the property owners for welcoming us to enjoy their amazing home!

Unbelievable property with tons of detail and tons of amenities.

I’d rent this property again and again and again. We had ten guys together for a bachelor party — we hung out by the pool and hot tub, played hoops and beach volleyball and generally hung out and had a good time by day. And then we enjoyed Austin’s nightlife each evening. Our house manager was beyond helpful and accommodating. Overall five stars.
