The location was convenient, right across from a shopping center, some good restaurants and the Austin Film Society. But the rooms are outdated, drawers were broken, door to the fridge was broken. It was clean and comfortable, but was expecting more for the price.

Older Hotel, but plenty of space, close to restaurants. Best employee award goes to Henry at the bar. He gave us menues to eat at the bar, and was very friendly. The gentleman who fixed the cable on our Tv was great as well.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Ms. Penny and service was excellent, However when we arrived at our room we were surprised at the condition of the room itself. The bedding was stained on both beds, the carpet was also stained, and the room reeked of smoke. There was visible dust on the tables as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I was shocked and asked Ms. Penny if we could relocate to a different and without hesitation she accommodated us. Although the new room was a bit cleaner than the previous I did not feel as if it would not meet anyone’s expectations. Thank you Ms. Penny for your kindness.

We love staying here! Staff is so friendly and helpful. PENNY IS A ROCKSTAR!!! She is always a delight and extremely helpful Conveniently located, free parking, clean rooms, and a balcony is always a plus :) One of my favorite hidden gems to stay at for an overnight trip and never disappointed
