Booked this place because there were good reviews and close to the Moody Center. But when we got to the room it was quite disgusting. The carpet was very stained in multiple areas, they had 2 side sofa chairs that were heavily stained in all places and not to mention we also found a condom behind one of the chairs. The staff was great but the rooms were just gross.

Cracks, stains and rips

Needs updating badly!!! Balcony had no chairs and view was of front of hotel roof, parking lot, low income housing, businesses and highway. Our room had ceiling cracks, stained furniture and uncomfortable mattress. Light switches had black grime but somehow the room seemed clean otherwise. I bought a container of disinfectant wipes though as I’m a bit of a germaphobe. Room safe broken and not repairable per staff. On the plus side, front desk people were very nice and you can walk to a variety of stores and restaurants. We were able to check in early. Pool is surrounded by trees so as another reviewer said it is filled with leaves. We saw maintenance guy clean it and 10 minutes later leaves were everywhere. We swam anyway because the water looked clear and temps in high 90’s. Pool surface is also deteriorated, pool towels the size of hand towels. Everywhere we looked there were ripped light shades, stained rugs, cracked ceilings etc. Breakfast buffet offerings weren’t bad but air conditioning was out the last 2 days in the dining area. They could use more staff there as they couldn’t keep up with cleaning tables and hostessing even though they really tried. Common areas look better than our room. I think function rooms are probably decent and the core business. F1 was in town when we were there so room prices were high and hotels were pretty booked so we took a chance as the location was not too far from where our family event was. Would not stay there again.
