Many things to love about this Austin Hotel, good in town location, free friendly shuttle service for nearby destinations, good gym and poolside roof bar. All was comfortable, with spacious rooms and friendly staff. Sometimes, though, it’s the small things - my favorite was the morning coffee service station on each floor. The coffee was great!

Here's a cleaned-up version with better grammar and flow: --- This place was good. I wouldn’t say great, but definitely good—clean and comfortable. However, the rooms are very dark. If you don’t have a balcony, it feels like being in a little dungeon. The outdoor area with the pool is nice, and the hotel has a good gym and other amenities. It’s a bit odd that they offer coffee in the hallway but don’t provide coffee makers in the rooms, but whatever. One thing I don’t understand is why there isn’t a water dispenser or purifier for filling up bottles. The only drinking water available to guests is in the gym, and it comes in little 8-ounce bottles—a wasteful and not very environmentally friendly option for those who don’t want to drink tap water. I would stay here again, but there are better places for the same or even less money. Oh, P.S.—the thermostat has an annoying green light when the air conditioner is on. And when it’s off, it’s red enough to drive you crazy. Be ready to rig up a piece of electrical tape or a Band-Aid to cover it.

This was our first time staying at a Hotel Zaza and boy did it exceed our expectations. Staff was very welcoming, our premium room was very spacious, rooms are very quiet, beds are comfortable, they have snacks and tea mid day, the location was close to shopping and restaurants, we also got to take advantage of the zaza car service and late check out. For what the hotel had to offer, it was well worth the price! We will be back!

The front desk service was super friendly on my arrival and departure but when I called the reception desk, the staff was not very polite (maybe they were busy). Same with valet parking. Upon arrival and during the stay they were great but ignored me when I was checking g out and had to load my car. Room service was sub par. Breakfast eggs cooked wrong and fruit plate was tasteless. I liked the room decor and the bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious. The shower was hot but the sink only had hot and very hot water….no cold water from the tap….

This is my first time at Hotel Zaza in Austin. I visit regularly on business, and I decided to try a new downtown hotel. I’m so glad to be staying here. The reception is welcoming and courtesy shuttle very convenient. The lobby, room, and restaurant are all aesthetically pleasing. It’s a welcoming atmosphere with a blend of charm, character, and sophistication. I am definitely coming back.

The Zaza was fine...nothing special for 400 a night. The staff was really great, that would be the highlight. The area is good, you can walk to a lot of things but I don't think downtown Austin is the "it" place anymore...feels like south congress is where you would want to stay. The rooms are soooooo dark. Getting dressed was like being blind, honestly. The lighting definitely needs to be upgraded. The general decor was outdated and the hallways to your room didn't read as a nice hotel. Bed was comfy, the room was large, and the drinks at the restaurant were really good. I just think it's a little expensive for what you get. We got a couples massage and it was one of the worst massages I've ever gotten, which is a shame b/c it was $450 .
