Reviews of the hotel are correct. Perfect for a weekend getaway. On a corner with lots of golf cart traffic. Room was like a dorm room, not much space to hang out, but came to Catalina to explore the island.

The property was older but average. We reported an ant problem in our room the first night, still saw ants second night. No amenities in our room. No coffee or tea available (other than in the lobby in the morning) no microwave or refrigerator for use but your card is held for incidentals. The hotel should offer more for the cost per night. The lady at the front desk Sunday evening was not friendly, I asked for hot water because I was feeling ill and she said she couldn't help me... I felt really bad and received no help or sympathy at all. I couldn't wait to check out. The gentleman on Monday morning was amazing!

The room was very clean, good daily maid service. We didn't have an ocean view from our room but beautiful ocean view from the 6th floor outdoor patio. Con: prior to our arrival, we tried to contact the front desk to request an additional queen bed or another room with 2 beds. 2 days of calling, and all they had was a recording voice service , left a message and no recall back. This was for 2 days. We even treied to email and no response. Not good customer service.

A very clean and well maintained hotel. There is a grocery nearby. Walking distance. Restaurants are nearby. 15 minute walk to the Catalina Express boat piers.

The property is a little outdated, but a good stay overall. Facility was clean, and staff was very friendly. My dislikes however were how thin the walls are. Our neighbors were up playing music till midnight, and then woke up at 7am to continue the party….terrible. Also, there were a lot of bugs outside, ants inside the room, and the sinks in the bathroom splash water everywhere. We enjoyed our balcony with ocean view, but again l, everything was a bit too close to the neighbors for my liking.
