It’s a good resort for couple of days at reasonable cost. Many different pools are available for children. Expect high cost for food and spa inside hotel . Since it’s a resort more engaging activities for adults will be good , though there are few available.

Review for The Westin Desaru Coast Resort I recently stayed in a one-bedroom suite. 1. Air Conditioning Issue in the Bedroom The bedroom air conditioning was not functioning properly throughout my stay. Although cold air was present in the vents, the blower wasn’t working, so the room never cooled effectively. I had to call maintenance three times. On the second visit, I was present and the technician confirmed the blower issue. I informed the front desk and specifically requested the blower be replaced while I was out on a day trip. Unfortunately, when I returned, I received a message saying the AC had been serviced, along with a suggestion to use the ceiling fan to help circulate air — which ironically highlighted the exact problem: cold air wasn’t being circulated due to the faulty blower. At that point, I gave up and endured the room temperature as it was. 2. Dinner Availability for Guests One evening, all the hotel’s restaurants were fully booked for dinner, leaving no option for hotel guests without prior reservations. I was traveling with my two-year-old and had to travel out of the hotel (as advised by concierge) to a nearby town 20 minutes away, only to find every recommended restaurant packed due to the long weekend. This was not flagged to us beforehand. We ended up returning and ordering food via Grab. It would be helpful if the hotel considered reserving a few tables each night for walk-in hotel guests.

Enjoyed the stay. Location was fairly convenient and close to the beach. Some minor nitpicks - the water for the bathtub was not hot enough, the clothes rack in the balcony was in very bad condition. But overall, I would recommend the resort.

The rooms were nice and the ocean view was wonderful. The amenities on the property were nice and convenient. The hard rock and the water park are a short walk away as well. The concierge had local tours and activities you could book also. There was some construction in the lobby which was not posted on the website.

hotel with fabulous staff. They work very hard to be cheerful all the time. Well trained in customer service. The spicy oysters at kediri restaurant is a must. Beach was clean and safe. Gym is decent. Massage was ok ok .
