This was our second stay at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. The view of the water is beautiful and the staff is so friendly and see to your every need. On arrival our sink had a faucet issue. Not only was it fixed right away but the maintenance person left a handwritten note apologizing for any inconvenience. It was a 4 mile drive to the entrance of Acadia National Park and 2 miles to downtown Bar Harbor. We had a great stay.

The hotel had beautiful views and friendly staff. Our children loved getting a free smores kit to make them at the firepit right next to the playground. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the free breakfast was surprisingly good. The rooms were not as nice as we were expecting but it was comfortable. The pool was not fancy but we all enjoyed swimming after a day of hiking.

We loved our room and private balcony with a view of the ocean. Our bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help whenever we had a question. The ice maker was broke and they delivered ice right to our door. The heated outdoor pool was so nice with plenty of chairs and towels provided. We will definitely return here again!!

Overall the hotel was good. But rooms are a little dated and it lacks changing rooms for the pool. Breakfast had a good selection but lacked a meet a great to welcome you, which meant we stood waiting at the door until we realised you just go in. Safety was a little of a concern as the outer doors to the building are open throughout the night and anyone can just walk. Overall our stay was good and I would recommend this hotel for families. The cleaning staff kept the rooms to a good standard and the reception staff were very helpful.

We had a lovely weekend stay. The staff was amazing and I love the fact that they do campfires every night and hand out free snores kits. Was a really nice touch. Breakfast was lovely, as well!

Excellent accommodations

Only complaint about room was the rather low ceilings.We were on lower floor so not sure if others were the same but it did have a basement feel. Beds comfortable and service through the resort was excellent. Breakfast buffet was varied and excellent. Attendants constantly refilling food and coffee and kept the area tidy. Everyone on staff friendly and attentive to our needs. Would definitely stay again!
