We checked in and did not get the suite with a pull out sofa as we booked and found staff member disagreeable about this. We got the room change but then received no housekeeping service the following day. The same staff member who is apathetic to say the least explained, housekeeping is “prioritized” for check-ins and even though we paid our money up-front, we settled for someone to quickly spit shine our accommodations. The manager was equally dismissive. So, for the money and aggravation, ill be staying at a Hampton Inn cheaper with free breakfast when I visited my Tiger next! The entire city of Baton Rouge lacks service mentality but at least do bot pay high prices for low standards!

While the front desk attendant was very kind and professional, our overall experience was disappointing. We arrived at 5:15 pm and were told our room was not yet available. After waiting 45 minutes, it was still not ready, and we had to leave for an evening event without ever accessing our room. When we returned around 7:30 pm, we were placed in a room on the second floor with no windows. Additionally, there was a ballroom event that night, and loud music could be heard clearly in our room until after 12:15 am. We were in town for a marathon, so the noise was especially disruptive to our ability to rest and prepare. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, which we appreciated. However, the logistics, late availability, lack of transparency, and the price paid for less than 12 hours in the room—paired with significant noise disruption—felt completely unreasonable.
