What an amazing surprise this place was! We booked last minute and got their last room and had an absolutely amazing 4 night stay. We knew nothing about Lynden but what a lovely surprise. We loved the historical charm, the location, the staff and the cleanliness. True hospitality! We will definitely be back!

NOT WORTH THE PRICE!! Being in downtown Lynden is the ONLY thing making this worthwhile. There is no parking lot which means street parking. Housekeeping is done "on the third day" and we stayed 2 so no fresh towels or linens or cleaning. The heating system is nonsense and seems to go between too cold to too hot. Our room (#30) had No View of anything except the fellow sitting out on a courtyard and reading. I will never book here, again.

Nice but lacking amenities and 24/7 staff, so not worth the price, especially since they have new competition in Lynden that is a better value.

Discover the new Netherlands countryside

The Inn in Lynden is the most welcoming place that I have stayed at. Jeri checked us in and gave us a list of things to see and do. We received passes for a yoga studio, coupons for the local bookstore and restaurant, a pass for the art gallery, free bike rentals, bottles of water and snacks. I felt right at home. The lobby has a warm fireplace to warm you up on a cold day. The room and bed and luxurious sheets provided just the right touch for a good nights sleep. The area around the hotel is known for its Dutch influence and raspberry fields. Windmills included! Cute as a button! It is about 30 minutes north of Bellingham, Washington and very close to the Canadian border. All went well and I am pleased. I will be back soon.

The Inn in Lynden is a special boutique hotel that caters to the traveler who wants a more personable stay. Gerry at the front desk is most welcoming and offers the guest tips on the local shopping and restaurants as well as things to see and do in the area. We were given free passes to the yoga studio, rented bicycle for free, given tickets to the history and art museums as well as a bunch of snacks and drinks in our room. The bed is so comfortable as well as the high quality sheets. It’s nice to sit by the fire in the lobby in their leather chairs as well as pop into the bookstore next door. Bakeries abound in this town. Do yourself a favor and explore Lynden which is known for their raspberries. And it’s very close to the Canadian border. Have fun!
