Home Hotel was cosy and quiet and oozed old world charm. The breakfast was excellent and the Fika and dinner were welcome extras. Great value for money.

Reasonable breakfast. Family room was really big. Lots of cupboard space but hotel is quite dated. Bathroom has a shower in the tub. Excellent location.

Nice place to stay

Good location, near Bryggen and the funicular. .Walkable to the Viking cruise terminal. Meals were included and very good. Only thing missing was I needed a washcloth, but the hotel didn’t have any.

Location, location, location. This is where you want to be for convenience. Remarkable place. Staff is very courteous. The best part is free dining, though light but it is a home meal. Bergen/Norway is expensive especially meals but you can have free breakfast, light snack at 5p and free nightly dinner At this hotel and you certainly save $$$, that will let you splurge for lunch. Oh well, you're on vacation, you can eat whenever, whatever. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Excellent location and hotel

Bergen is the most beautiful city we have seen in our travels. The shops and restaurants go in many fascinating directions to explore. The food is excellent, especially at Egon's next door to the hotel. Hakon's Hall is majestic and feels like it's taking you back in time 750 years. The rail car to the mountain top has great views and beautiful forest hikes. We saw the Troll museum in Tromso, and the one in Bergen is also very fun to explore. The runes and artifacts in the Bryggens museum are fascinating. All walkable from the hotel! Also, the hotel has breakfast and dinner included which was nice not to 'eat out' every night. Great view of the city from our room too.

This hotel is wonderful! Super friendly staff, large and clean rooms, good breakfast. Also near the fish market and finicular. Highly recommended!

We did not have working power outlets in our room so the lamps did not work. No offer for extension cords or remedy was offered by reception staff. The following morning, reception staff repeatedly stated that management would email a response to this issue/complaint. I still have not received an email 5 days since checking out from our 2 night stay with this hotel.

Loved my room and surrounding area . The only suggestion I have is more light in bathroom for makeup and the switches for electric need to be marked so you do t have to leave the light on for recharging through the night .
