This is a great ski and adventure hotel. It’s clean, big rooms, quiet despite its its size and gorgeous setting next to Ă„re lake. Even the basic rooms are bigger than your average hotel in rest of Europe. I have been coming to this hotel with my 2 daughters ( now 13 and 15) for skiing and it is always a good option. It’s not ski in& ski out, lifts are either a 10 mins walk or ski buss right outside. Perfect for us tjough

Room was very warm and blackout curtains did not do their jobs properly : it seems the hotel is optimized for winter sports. Sauna was closed and usage of the pools - which is the reason we booked - were an extra SEK 250 per person. That should have been clearly indicated on the reservation page.

Vi hade en överlag trevlig vistelse pĂ„ Holiday Club Åre. Incheckning och utcheckning fungerade vĂ€ldigt smidigt, och personalen i receptionen var bĂ„de vĂ€nliga och professionella – ett varmt och positivt bemötande som verkligen uppskattades. Rummet vi bodde i var stort och luftigt, vilket gav en kĂ€nsla av rymd och komfort. Dock mĂ€rktes det att det börjar bli dags för en renovering, sĂ€rskilt i badrummet som skulle behöva en rejĂ€l grovstĂ€dning. Hotellets spaavdelning Ă€r ett stort plus. Den har en Ă€ventyrspool dĂ€r barnen kan bada och leka, vilket Ă€r perfekt för familjer. Det finns ocksĂ„ en "Saunaworld" med olika bastur och kallbad – en avkopplande upplevelse för den som söker lugn och Ă„terhĂ€mtning. TyvĂ€rr drogs helhetsintrycket ner nĂ„got av att en lekstuga i omrĂ„det anvĂ€ndes lite respektlöst, dĂ€r barn sprang, hoppade och skrek utan uppsikt, vilket störde spa-upplevelsen. LĂ€get Ă€r dock svĂ„rslaget – precis intill tĂ„gstationen och med gĂ„ngavstĂ„nd till restauranger och centrum. Ett hett tips Ă€r att boka ett rum med sjöutsikt – det Ă€r verkligen vĂ€rt det. Sammanfattningsvis: ett hotell med stor potential och mĂ„nga fina kvaliteter, men dĂ€r vissa delar av boendet behöver frĂ€schas upp och miljön i spaomrĂ„det gĂ€rna fĂ„r regleras bĂ€ttre för allas trivsel.
