Room for improvement

A hotel with a nice location, next to the central station. The rooms are ok, but getting old. Towels should have been exchanged long time ago, simply worn out. From 4 nights, only one cleaning - not impressive. Hot food at breakfast is a little bit warmer than cold. So it's OK - three stars, but not more.

Great location, staff could be friendlier

The room was very clean and spacious, and the location was excellent...only a few blocks walk to the train station. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a nice selection...coffee was excellent. The only issue is the front desk staff could've been a little friendlier...I had ask for change to use the vending machine in THEIR hotel, but the staff seemed to be put off and unhappy by my request by saying he didn't want to "break" a bill as large as mine (50 Euro)...to be fair, it was a relatively large denomination, but are they not prepared for such a request??

Booked this hotel since it was near the Central Station..I think that was the advantage of this property. I also availed their breakfast which was lovely and with plenty of options everyday. My main concern was housekeeping was only if requested, no toiletries provided except for a small vanity pack with cotton buds and cotton pad. Also, the pillow was not like a pillow at all? It was flat. I had to request twice before I got another one. The bed was queen sized but the duvet was for very small. For the price of this hotel, I’ve expected better service. Some of the staff seemed unapproachable but the rest were friendly and accommodating.

Great location!!

Great location! A two minute walk to Berlin hbf and walking distance to many attractions. Check-in was easy and the rooms were clean and quiet. Wish bath towels had been better quality! Thin and small.

Great location for many reasons

We had a very nice stay to site see before flying out. The location was excellent. It is just a block from the main train station. The beds were on the firm side…so personal preference not to my taste. Would prefer a top sheet rather than a heavy comforter. To their credit they delivered extra pillows almost immediately upon request. Room was very quiet. Bathroom was well appointed with eco friendly soap, shampoo, etc. The shower was extremely slippery but spacious. Elevators (4 of them) were very speedy. Staff was friendly and helpful. We noticed afternoons are very busy. They have computers for easy check in but the two people we noticed trying to use them had difficulty and ended up in line. Not sure why. The other advantage to staying there is it is close to several points of interest and the Hop on Hop off bus stop is just across the street. The train is also a 3 hour ride from Kiel if cruising (2 trains daily are direct) FEX train is 1/2 hour to the airport cost is under €10 for 2 adults.
