First, the location & price were right. Second, there was a guitarist/vocalist at dinner. Love that. Dinner was homemade & delish. Everyone was welcoming. Room was spacious & we slept WELL. Breakfast was included, delish, & in the bright & beautiful restaurant by the Amanoosuc River. The only very minor improvement I could suggest would be more lighting in the resto after dark. We'll happily be back!

We had a lovely weekend at the Wayside Inn! Our room was clean and the location was perfect for a quick weekend to ski Cannon, and visit Reklis, and Schilling Beer Co. It was nice to have breakfast included and we took full advantage of the cozy fireplace and TV to watch some Olympics with fellow guests.

The rooms are cozy, clean and spacious. The breakfast is a great plus! But the cherry on top is the staff. The owner and staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful. We’ll stay here next time for sure. The location is the best for skiing or a trip in the summer to the mountains.

We stayed here for a night and loved the cozy nostalgic atmosphere. Quaint and clean room with friendly staff. Had to leave early so didn’t get to have breakfast, but the warm rolls with cinnamon butter and apple butternut soup I had for dinner were amazing. Lovely river view from out room. Highly recommend!

Sarah was very friendly.The property manager (didn"t get his name) was wonderful. He made a delicious breakfast. The room overlooking the river was perfect. The only thing that could have been better was the dining room, very cave like. The dinner menu was limiting and not really good.

We love the Wayside Inn! We’ve been staying 2-3 times a year for 4 years. The rooms a lovely; the inn is cozy; the included breakfast is delicious, as is the restaurant for dinner. The view from the dining room is beautiful every season. Sarah, the owner, and her family are absolute delights-it’s a privilege to have gotten to know them a bit over the years-and we look forward to many more years of visits.
