BNB with good food rooms not so much.

Unfortunately for me the room i booked in the main house became under repair for whatbibwas told was plumbing issues. Which is understandable but was not given any communication prior to arriving about this situation. My wife and i were given a room in the annex with 2 double beds (originally booked a queen) but had a view of the creek was the "sell point" of the room swap. That creek was the only upsell of the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable night as well slept on the floor with a blanket. I got very little sleep that night. The bathroom shower/toilet was about the size of one of those handicap outhouses. Super cramped and the sink was outside the bathroom in small alcove that the door swung into. The room was very outdated but looked like the entry deck was recently updated (new wood and underlayment) The creek again was the only saving grace. The view from the 2nd story was relaxing and the sound was very soothing. Unfortunately the annex is smoking area (still non smoking room) so I had to deal with the smell from time to time of people outside smoking. We chose to eat dinner at the hotel since we arrived late we were immediately seated. Food was really good cocktails seemed themed for the season. No discount given for staying at the hotel and not even for our forced room downgrade/swap. (A free app or dessert would have been sufficient) Over all the stay was good for the overnight pass though to a longer vacation elsewhere but will not stay again

This is an older bed and breakfast hotel. Charming and antique. The staff was so nice and friendly. The breakfast was great. Sitting out by the river with the fall charm was magical.

We were looking for something convenient for both exploring Mount Washington and The Kanc areas, so this was perfect, right on route 302. Cute historical inn right on the river, with its own restaurant. Food was excellent. The rooms are “quaint”. The floorboards and bed springs a little squeaky, but room was very clean. Comfortable.

Hotel staff was wonderful. Room was overall clean but going through renovations. Lady bugs were very active in the area. Location on the river was peaceful. Bar tender and Manager were awesome as my wife had hurt her back and they were very accommodating with helping get ice, meals and beverages. Dinner was great! TV was a challenge as the cable did not work and had to stream MLB payoffs.

The balcony view was scenic. Overall, just average. Rooms are dated, refrigerator didn't work, beds weren't comfortable. Breakfast was included but we didn't stay as we had family staying elsewhere so I can't judge or comment. It did look like they were in the process of doing some work on the building (we were in the annex).
