Great historic place to stay central location

This is a beautiful historic resort with kind of an Ozzy and Harriet flair I was given a terrific room ground-floor could park in front full kitchen and bath queen bed and queen sleeper I was in big bear looking for investment projects and I was paddle by natasha and Chris they were just terrific totally responsive to every question I had I can’t say enough nice things about the staff In fact I had a 13 day rental. And I had to go home five days early to deal with some chaos of my vrbo rentals in San Diego and Natasha was very gracious in getting me a refund and doing it properly and promptly

Our family had a very nice stay over Presidents’ Weekend. We enjoyed the open area in the back of the hotel that had enough snow that our son could sled. The staff was super friendly and quick to respond when we needed extra towels or had questions. It was a little noisy in the morning with street traffic but we were facing the street so maybe ask for a room away from the street if you want to sleep in a little.

The staff, location, amenities. It’s right on the main road next to big 5. We took our 80 yr old dad & 76 yr old mom, we are in 50’s. Rented the 2 BR Cabin. It’s a perfect size for even 5 people. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile they work hard to keep you happy, amazing people, they are very hands on. The location is great u can walk to village in 10 min or 3 min drive. There is ample space to play on premises, there is a club house with pool table and games, a separate Bar area with great drinks and cool decor. So really u can do almost everything in the area, great for family with small kids to play in the snow. There is also a few fire pits on premises. The cabin is small but quaint my only take off is heat, the main furnace gets super warm but the rooms will need doors open or use of space heaters, we did let staff know and they offered more space heaters. There is also a wood fire place. Kitchen has all standard items needed to bring food in. My family had a great time and we will be back to hit the ski resorts again.
