Don’t ever stay here. Disgusting rooms and terrible Front Desk service. The bathroom was dirty. There were cockroaches running across the floor. There were people yelling and fighting across the parking lot at each other. We decided to pack our things up and go to a different hotel because we felt unsafe. The next morning when I explained all of what happened to the front desk and asked for a refund, they denied me. I called hotels.com to try and get a refund for me and they refused again.
I asked to please be let out of my second night stay and the young lady at the desk flattly fused any type of remedy so I took the loss, packed up my car, dropped the key in the box and left. Drove four hours straight home. So If you are thinking about staying at this hotel and are not familiar with the area, RUN! RUN as fast as you can. Not only will I not stay at or near that hotel again, I won't even take the chance of staying in Ocean Springs again. Yes, it was that bad.
It is very nice. The front desk person is so amazing. I come here everytime I visit and she remembers us. She all ready be knowing what I want and like. The rooms are so nice. And clean.
We checked in, it was late, no staff!! Got to rm...it was dirty, filthy, n had roaches!!.. we left 15 mins later, stayed elsewhere. 10 days later, still no refund...stay away!!
The room itself needs an entire facelift. It reeked of cigarette smoke and we were in a non smoking room. There were cockroaches in the room which indicated there was likely an infestation and was very unsettling. The bathroom was disgusting, along with the overall room itself. There was dirty throughout the room and close by the bed. As well as a lot of dust and might be cobwebs behind the bed. There was hair on the towels in the bathroom and it also looked as though the bathtub hadn’t been cleaned in some time. The kitchen area has dirt all throughout that could not be cleaned by a standard turnover service. There needs to be deep cleaning done at the very least or a complete remodel. It is not the managers or cleaning staffs fault. The owner should have the rooms deeply cleaned and require the staff to do a more thorough clean during each turnover or guest stay. Overall we were so appalled by the condition of the room we felt repulsed and did not feel safe to stay there. We stayed the one night as we had no where else to go but checked out asap and found another hotel the next day. I would like the owner to contact me at McFadden.v@live.ca for a refund.
The room was infested with roaches. I have the image if needed. I could not get the heater to work. I was out early and in late and did mot catch the office. My family slept in sweatshirts and sweatpants with socks to stay warm. App wont let me upload photo. Send me a link to share the photos.
The stay was great! Great staff, great room… the only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was very low and the water pressure in the sink was way too much, made a mess when you turned it on. But other than that we had a wonderful experience staying at this property. Will definitely be staying again!
