Pool was closed,window blinds did not work, tv remote battery was low and was missing the battery cover, no butter, and no syrup at breakfast. This is our second stay here and both times we were assigned wheelchair access room despite requesting a regular room. The shower flooded the floors and last time we were here the blinds didn't open and it still hasn't been fixed.

Absolutely loved this place! The whole place smelled amazing. Clean, friendly and quiet. The breakfast was amazing…chicken sausage, pork sausage, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, veggie omelets, cheese omelets, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit. Everyone was so friendly. Will definitely come back!

The room had wrappers left between the bed and the night stand. The tub had mold on the caulk. The hotel had a funny smell and it wasn’t chlorine from the pool. The pool needed cleaning. It was way too slippery. No grit for when the water got on the sides.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Vestal for 11 nights. The experience was a mix of genuinely kind staff and some significant facility shortcomings that impacted my stay. The Good: The highlight of my stay was the staff. Every team member I interacted with was very nice, professional, and accommodating to the best of their abilities. They genuinely seemed to want guests to be comfortable. The continental breakfast was a nice offering to start the day. However, staying for 11 days, the options were quite limited and became unappealing and repetitive after the first few mornings. The Bad (Facility Issues): Unfortunately, several maintenance issues detracted heavily from the experience: Bathroom Essentials: The bathroom placard claimed certain basic essentials would be provided, but simple items like Q-tips were missing throughout my stay. Water Issues: The worst issue was the incredibly inconsistent hot water in the shower. I spent more time trying to regulate the temperature than I did actually enjoying a shower—it was a daily frustration. Cleanliness/Maintenance: There was a strong smell of chlorine upon entry into the hotel lobby. In my room, the bathroom paint was peeling, the carpets felt dirty, and I noticed mold at the base of the bathtub. Elevator: The elevator felt very old and "sketchy," which did not inspire confidence in the building's overall maintenance.
