Nice and spacious room. My only 'complaint' is that when we checked in we were told that breakfast was included. I didn't select this option but as I booked a number of hotels for our trip I didn't recall each one. Wish they had been clearer but the breakfast was both good and reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest staying here if you are in the area.
After check in I went to my room and was hit by a nasty smell. Lovely young woman on reception got me moved immediately with no quibble.
Hotel was great. Loads of parking. Good bar and restaurant. Comfortable bed and generally very quiet. Friendly helpful staff. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
The rooms were tired with mold in the shower. Very basic. Taps were loose. Lots of noise late into the night, there were a group of people outside talking until 2am which kept us up all night.
HH is perfectly acceptable, it’s a high turnover hotel with functions also available/happening. The staff work tirelessly and have a smile on their faces. Never usually have an issue with noise but this time there was music ongoing until around 2am, couldn’t be sure if it was from the hotel or not, there was also an acrid smell of smoke that eventually led me to closing the windows on one of the hottest nights of the year.. The morning revealed a layer of ash over all the cars, not sure if it was a hotel function or a property nearby, unfortunately couldn’t find any staff early in the morning to ask.

Great value hotel
Large clean family room, reception staff really helpful on check-in, good menu in bar/pub, be wary of parties if using as a stop-over - there was loud music until late.
Booked family room for 3 was given twin room for 2. Only room left. Previous couple booking in before us also got wrong room. Showed staff member our booking as she thought we booked it incorrectly. Apparently her system showed just for 2.
Bathroom shower mould around base of shower, could do with replacing and bathroom floor looked like it had built-in dirt in particular areas.
Worse room ever in history. Very much doubt I will use expedia to book room for a night again.
Small small things missing or unappealing:
- bathroom door handle was loose.
- bathroom door had no lock.
- bathroom shower drain looks a bit clogged. Water was taking time to drain.
- floor in the room was squeaking.
- bed linen was feeling a bit sticky.
- vegetable full breakfast missed to have vegetable sausages and an egg. Not sure how the chef forgot that.
