Tired of paying for ill-maintained poorly curated lodging. Spoke directly to management and they just looked at me blankly. Everything going downhill. Paying more/getting less.

The room was decent but not in great condition. The flush mechanism on the toilet was broken and the toilet kept running. There was no stopper in the sink and the aerator was missing. The breakfast was poor and was in the office. I had to go out for breakfast to get something decent to eat. One lamp wasn’t plugged in and there were ants in the room. Housekeeping did a nice job and the room appeared clean and the bed was well made when I checked in. The refrigerator and microwave looked relatively new and were in great condition. The manager didn’t impress me. He wasn’t exactly rude when I checked in, but he could have been friendlier and more welcoming. However, he was quick about getting me checked in and efficient. I won’t stay there again unless there is no other place to stay in Bishop.

Price was reasonable for location. I liked the complimentary waffle breakfast with coffee. I didn’t like ants in the sink and some drawers didn’t open due to old furniture. The shower curtain had a stain and could have used bleach to remove it. I liked the “sanitized” toilet sign. I liked the golden gate wall hanging. The place needs a little modernization with furniture and usb plugs. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The in room coffee / hot water machine , small refrigerator and hair dryer were working.

Last minute holiday weekend. 70 YO SWF traveling alone. Limited availability. Gave me a 2nd floor room in a very dark corner of the building. Felt very unsafe. Toilet ran constantly. Blacklight used to verify cleanliness.
