Would not stay here again..

Our stay was not the greatest. The hotel was overall in decent shape, but definitely not the cleanest. Service was very poor. Stayed 3 nights and requested housekeeping services two of the days, but they never got to our room. Would not stay here again unfortunately.

Towel rack was broken and bathroom was not clean. Hairs in shower. Pubic hair on bathroom floor, corners weren’t clean. Beds were both sunk in, sqeaky, and bedding wasn’t laid properly. Tv sensor was behind dresser and could not be reached. Tv was stuck on CNN. The front desk clerk was coming to fix it but my husband said never mind. The room was not worth $190. -$200. That room was covered in dust, not a little layer but days worth of dust. Wallpaper in the halls coming off, carpets needed shampooing. We love staying at La Quinta but this was very poor. We’ve stayed at this location several times. That room should not have been rented out. Shame on the cleaning staff and maintenance people. Especially management for allowing the room with broken bathroom racks to be available to guests. I have pictures.

My co-workers rooms were nice and great. Mine had an exterior broken window that looked to be that way for a while. It was on the ground level. The wind would whistle through it. The window needs to be addressed.

The room smelled, the hallway carpet was dirty, the AC window unit needs cleaning and didn’t work properly. The bathroom was clean, but needs some repairs around the trim/door The night staff was not friendly or helpful; he also didn’t answer questions about incidental charges, etc…. We will not choose this location, for our next trip.

This hotel is deserving of its low 8+ rating. It is perfectly adequate and affordable but the room is a bit lacking. The mattress was way too soft and the heat would not work. The front desk staff, though, were courteous and professional.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The air was set at 60 and we never could get it warm. There was a toilet seat in the hall across from our door, which is just gross. We accidentally left a silver necklace in the room. When we called they couldn’t find it. Very disappointing as it held a ton of sentimental value.

This hotel is showing its age. When I arrived to my room, 214, the toilet was running (for how long, I don’t know) and the handle was stuck in the down position. I flushed it again and made sure the handle was in the proper position so it wouldn’t run continually. The tub had no drain cover if you wanted to take a bath…the towel holder fell off the back of the door. The deadbolt lock didn’t fit into its proper opening, so I couldn’t use the deadbolt and had to block the inside of the room with a chair and the luggage rack to feel safe during the night. The pool water was very cold and the door to the outside was propped open and some machine was running, this was a total security risk, in my opinion. Anybody could have gotten in through this propped door.
