We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. The room had a small portable fan which we turned on at night: We would have preferred to leave the patio doors open, to experience the ocean breeze but due to mosquitos we had to keep the doors closed. The room was unpleasantly warm. That said: we were in Blokhus during the warmest week of the year, the weather and the beach was amazing ☀️

Fabulous hotel close to the beach- wonderful.

A super hotel a short walk from the iconic beach in Blokhus. Wellness area is beautiful, clean and very relaxing, offering free bottled water, nice towels and shower facilities and fitness. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner as well as well assorted breakfast buffet. They accomodated our special requests too. All staff was very polite and attentive.

The hotel was superb, but the restaurant needs improvement like a table cloth, when you have an expensive dinner and not a cheap plastic table. Other things are necessary for the restaurant to serve expensive meals like tasting the wine. It should be mentioned that the hotel has apologised, but the class needs to be applied.

Wonderful beach hotel

Located next to one of the best beaches in Denmark, this hotel gives a great feeling of Danish summer. As the hotel is newly built, everything is brand new and of high quality. Very friendly staff and great restaurant. Highly recommended :-)

Beautiful, cozy, trendy seaside hotel

From the decor to the staff, everything was spot on. And the breakfast spread! Very Danish and very delicious. We spent 2 nights here in the winter season. The strand is a beautiful sight but not much more to do in the area. Perfect place to stay if you’d like to make a day trip to Skagen (or the most northern tip of Denmark)
