Beware: Lobby is under construction

The lobby was getting renovated which had we known we my not have stayed at that location. We paid $389 a night which I feel was a bit expensive for a place that was under construction. When we arrived at 3PM our room was not ready. We were told to come back in 30 mins. Since there was no lobby, we had to leave and find somewhere to wait. The person at the front desk was apologetic.

The rooms were clean. It was a great area to stay in. It was just too bad. They were under construction, so everything was kind of a mess along with the elevator being shut down for a while because they were working on it on the weekend and the hot tub was not in use so that was a bit disappointing.

Too dirty

Hotel is doing renovations in the main common areas, which is good. But the rest of the hotel has not been cleaned. Found a ketchup packet had on the floor by the drapes. Very dirty carpet in room and hallways. Pool was dirty and no towels provided. Hot tub was empty and sign said it was closed by the health department.

There was a lot going on and you had to go through construction zone to get to the elevators. Noise started one morning at 7 am. Room didn’t get cleaned both days (one day because we left Do not disturb sign up) but second day even after requesting a cleaning. If you just need a place to park yourself at night, this is OK. There’s literally no space to sit and wait even for a minute. In your room or out of the hotel.

I can't believe this property is renting rooms. It's in horrible condition. The carpets are stained, the tub has rust, broken objects are in the room, and mold surrounds the pool. I trusted the reviews and did not learn that this place was under construction until I booked a room. I will be posting this on Google with photos (since learning unfavorable reviews never get approval and stay in pending status).
