The second floor elevator was not working to go down for 2 days if our stay and we stayed on the second floor. We had to go to up to floor three and then press the down button to get to floor one. The folks at the front desk were aware of the situation but acted like the elevator issue has just occurred and it had been happening for two days. The were really not concerned with the issue.

New England Adventure 2025

The Courtyard Marriot South-South Boston was an enjoyable experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable too. We parked our car at the hotel and just called UBER to get us around in the city. We did the Old Town Trolley tour and was able to see a lot of history. It was an easy way to see the city and not have to deal withe insane traffic. We ate lunch at Provisions Restaurant and supper at Union Oyster House. They were both good choices.

There was construction going on, the staff wasn’t the most friendly and there was a fire alarm that went off one night at 12:30am. I can’t blame the facility for it but how it was managed and communicated was a major fail.

Good but not great stay in South Boston

This was our third time at this hotel. It is being slowly remodeled, which causes some discomfort. The room had already been remodeled, but they no longer have drawers available for clothing, which I missed. Not having food service available at 930am was another miss.

I reserved a room for 3 people. At my arrival after a long day, the sofa bed was not set up. When I called to the front desk he said that usually the bed linin was in the closet and that I need it to set up by my self.

Not really walkable. A short distance to the subway and not sure if the way home in the dark was that safe. From our room we could hear the elevator door bell. I asked for parking forgiveness since the lobby was under major construction, which they did honor. Thank you again for that. Lots of water pressure from the shower! Over all as expected.

This hotel was the first of five I have stayed in at Boston Marathon time and there was absolutely nothing to recognise the runners. Only one elevator was working during my entire stay. On leaving, I required to change my clothes and have a wash. The ladies' bathroom was out of order and it was suggested I used the mens'!!!! I refused and insisted on having a ladies' bathroom to wash and change in. The workman was initially given priority to remain in the ladies' but he had to wait outside as under my adamance, they offered me only a tiny cubicle. All work taking place in the hotel should have been notified to up and coming guests
