Great location right near Boston Common. Convenient to lots of sights and to transportation. Super comfortable beds and pillows! Free snacks were a great plus. My one complaint—no fridge in the room.

Uncomfortable stay

We chose the hotel because it’s convenient location. We reserved two rooms and only one room was ready when we checked in. We waited for more than one hour and no one let us know the other room was ready. We had to call the front desk and asked if it was ready. The TV in one of our rooms wasn’t working properly and some one had to come fix it. Our rooms were on lower floors facing the busy street. It was very noisy at night and every morning starting at around 4am the garbage truck would start picking up garbage and banging sound of the bins would last at least 20-30 min. Then on Saturday morning, the street cleaners started power washing the sidewalks at 6am. It was so noisy and loud that we couldn’t sleep at all. We also needed a roll away bed and it was very uncomfortable. The mattress was very thin and the coils were felt easily. We would not come back to this hotel again.

The Godfrey was an absolute pleasure to stay at! The staff was amazing and outgoing to help us with any request needed. I couldn’t get my phone to work with the tv as far as streaming but it really didn’t make or break the amenities because we stayed to busy to worry about the tv. From check in to check out it was a perfect place to be. I would definitely stay again next time I’m in Boston.
