Booked a suite. Paid orbitz way in advance for the suite. Just got a room. Still charged for the suite. to bad after using orbitz for over a decade i got ripped off.

They gave me a room for the “handicapped.” The bathroom was the worst. The floor got wet and when I wiped it up with a towel it became brown with dirt. The shower head was on a hose attached to a pole. The shower head had to be hand held. The morning was very loud with bangs and pounding as people worked on the out of order elevator. Also, children yelling, loud talking and the elevator dinging next to the elevator which was right outside my door. The staff was tolerant but condescending towards me as a senior customer.

I had no light on the entire wall - 3 lamps on the wall behind my bed. I reported it and it wasn't fixed. It was difficult to get ready in the morning with only the tiny reading lamp on the desk. I had to do my makeup in my car before my meeting. The bathroom floor was sticky and the shower floor was very dirty.

Room was not ready at check-in time.. we had to wait 45 minutes for our reserved room to be cleaned before we could get into it. The gym was missing several pieces of equipment. Staff were hard find in the lobby due to taking breaks outside. Concerning people hanging around the lobby coffee machine (slumped over). Breakfast was good and refilled consistently.

We stay at HIE often. That said, our room at Boynton Beach had a couple issues... 1. Toilet paper holder needs attention. It kept falling off the wall. 2. The three-bottle soap dispenser needs either a mold-scrub or new sealant. 3. It was very loud. A. The hall's room doors closed with a reverberating thud. B. So did the otherwise nice sliding shower doors. The judicious use of shock/noise absorbing bumpers could improve sleep quality a lot. C. Even the bed itself clunked when sat upon. Thank you for treating these observations in the positive vein in which they're intended. Go Team! Brandon Burnette
