Everybody was very friendly and helpful. It’s a cute little place, nice and clean, and a great location. A lot of people don’t like the old motel because of the doors to the outside. And I tend to agree. But this one’s the exception. The parking lot is perfectly lit, and you have a reserved parking spot right in front of your door. It felt very safe/secure, not shady. I even left gear in the truck I would normally bring in. And the best part is that rate is something you don’t have to be a California transplant to afford. We’ll be back, for sure.

I wish I could give it 6 stars. You can tell they've got a long family history because of the fine details. Italian soap, dual heaters (so you're ready for the coldest of days), great linens, cute retro styling across the place, and so on. The location is great, too, and we were able to easily walk to several food spots that were perfect for our wallet and dietary preferences (cheap + healthy).
