The Space
Start your day with a cup of coffee on the large patio, overlooking a serene lake and surrounded by the sounds of nature. A great place to stay (centrally located w a truly wonderful host)

Hurricane Helene forced us to seek long-term housing off island (Anna Maria Island) this winter so we found this place in Bradenton. The neighborhood seems quiet and pleasant, but what makes this VRBO stand out is that the neighbors and the host are incredibly nice and down-to-earth people. The holidays bring out the porch pirates, and these neighbors obviously look out for each other. We had barely moved in and the lady across the street popped over with a holiday tin of home-made fudge. So sweet This home was mildly damaged during the 2024 hurricanes, and the Host is diligently working towards making the necessary repairs as quickly as he can. Since most of the repairs were outside, the Host arranged to have the work done with as little disruption to our stay as possible. Any time something comes up, the Host is incredibly responsive. For example, we found a trail of ghost ants (hey, it's Florida so it's basically par for the course down here) and the same day the Host showed up with bait stations to place wherever we saw ants. We happened to mention that some of the patio chairs looked like they had cracks in the plastic and the next day 4 new chairs were delivered (we only mentioned the cracks so we wouldn't be blamed for them!). Wow.The house is older, but the Host makes sure that anything that comes up is addressed immediately and thoroughly.We would definitely stay here again. Thanks very much, Host Dan, for making our stay as pleasant as possible!

Lovely home, great neighborhood

We had to evacuate our homes on Anna Maria island for Hurricane Milton. We also are VRBO owners. This home is clean, comfortable and charming. My favorite thing about the property was the owner Dan.He went above and beyond with kindness and generous. . I would recommend to family and friends.

We were disappointed in the condition of the yard, especially the back. We had hoped to be able to leave our little dog outside without us for short periods of time. We were not able to do that because the area was not secured. She could have easily gotten out. Also, the back yard was not a pleasant place at all. It could have been, but as it was, it was not. Also, the patio had not been sweeped or cleaned. The master shower smelled of sewage. The motion/security light came on frequently all through each night. It made it a little scary, but we did get used to it. Seemed to be a nice quiet neighborhood.

Very nice home in Bradenton

House is as shown on the listing; the only thing different is the lawn. Since not a lot of grass and more sand, I was a little unsure with my dog; however, she loved being outside. Would lay in the backyard sunning or playing in the back. A great neighborhood for walking your dog as well. Having a garage for our car was nice also. Dan is a very accommodating host. Everything was thought of for an enjoyable stay. There were items for the beach, treats & toys for our dog, laundry detergent & there was even bottled water for us. Since we did cook at home some nights I appreciated the stainless steel cookware. It is a well equipped rental; has just about anything you would need. YouTube on the TV in the living room so a lot to watch, but limited channels in the Bedroom; wished there was a better selection for the bedroom. The bed was very comfy. We had a pleasant stay and Dan is a very good host. Communication was excellent.

Month Stay

Stayed for a month with my 2 dogs. The house itself is a great little home that is clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The property owner is very quick to respond to any concerns I had. The location gives you easy access to anywhere in the area. Friendly, neighbors. The only downside and not shown in pictures is the yard both front and back need a lot of attention, not green grass as shown in pictures. But, this area did just have Ian skirt through so I can’t really judge the landscaping.

Great stay!

Dan was great with communicating through the whole process. From our initial booking to arriving and then leaving the property, Dan was great about about making sure we had everything we needed. The home was as advertised. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. We definitely recommend this home.

Dog Friendly Vacation Oasis

Dan’s home is as advertised, a lovely 3 bedroom, two bath home with a great patio, fenced yard, and nice quiet neighborhood. The home is super-clean, access to the attached garage is great. Close to beaches, shopping and dining. Dan is a terrific host—very accessible and responsive. The dogs and I enjoyed playing in the peaceful back yard and sitting on the patio.

Expectations Exceeded

We had such a fabulous week at Dan's place! His communication was excellent and he made sure every step of the way that we were taken care of. The house was nicely landscaped and located in a nice, safe, and quiet neighborhood. It is a short drive to beaches, stores, and other Florida fun. Being able to pull into the garage was a great feature, especially in the middle of the week when it rained. Each morning we were able to enjoy coffee on the patio in the private backyard in the sunshine. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to make our own food throughout the week and we enjoyed the convenience of having the smart lights and thermostat. We enjoyed Netflix on the huge TV at night on the super comfortable couch. It was great to have access to a nice washer and dryer and dishwasher as well. Dan and family pay attention to details and even have little extras like coffee, soaps, and even a tote of games in the living room. The decor is cheerful and the whole house has really happy vibes. There were plenty of towels, blankets, linens, etc. - everything you could think of to be comfortable. The showers had excellent water pressure, hot water, and every drain worked flawlessly (always a fear of mine!). Dan made himself available to us for anything we may have needed and even checked in after our first evening. He made the whole process easy and pleasant from start to finish. We can't say enough how good our week was and we would absolutely stay at their beautiful home again!

Florida Christmas 2021

We had a really nice stay and the house and it was nice and clean when we arrived. We were 6 person living in the house, three bedrooms two with king size bed one slightly bigger but it’s enough for adults to sleep in and the last room with single beds which was great for us when our children is end of the teenager’s The room with the bigger room has its own toilet and shower. The contact with the landlord was super he sms us a couple of days in advance and gave us instructions how everything works in the house. Wi-Fi worked really well and that is important for the children😀 There is a big TV in the living room and one smaller in one of the bedrooms but we didn’t watch TV. There was new games that we could use such as UNO. We like this games so for us it was perfect. It is close to the beach you need to take the car but if you come at the wrong time in the day it can take some time to get out to the beach but it’s worth it. Finally me and my family can say we had a great stay in the house and we can recommend to rent this. Per with family

Family Vacation

We rented 3 homes to accommodate our large family. We called this the “big” house where everyone could meet for dinner and heading to the beach. The home was perfect! Clean, lots of dishes, towels, etc. perfect little backyard for gathering with a fire pit and bbq! We will definitely be returning. Owner was quick to respond and provided all necessary information for the home during our stay!
