When we arrived there was no one at the front desk. A sign was taped to the door with a phone number to call. When they answered they told me that the key to our room was under a mat on the outside entrance of the main office. Completely unsecured. No one came to the front office. They asked that I come sign paperwork when I check out in the morning. When we got to the room we found multiple cockroaches crawling up the walls. We did not feel comfortable leaving out personal items in the room. When we checked out and let them know about the bugs they did not seem concerned and did not offer any assistance in righting the issue. I told them first thing when speaking to them. When giving them my Infromation they said they couldn’t do anything because I had already checked out. Yet I offered them the Infromation before starting my checkout process. The whole experience was dirty and unacceptable. The conditions of the room were horrendous.

We really enjoyed our stay at Green Gables Inn. The value for the money was amazing!! We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated that there were hot items. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Roaches, roaches and roaches!

Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you want to take roaches home with you. I killed a full grown roach in the floor and there were two babies in the shower. I notified the desk, and they just wanted to move me two rooms down. If roaches are in one room they are everywhere. No refund. I left anyway.

We are SDC season pass holders who come from Oklahoma. We have stayed at many motels and hotels in Branson and all over and have never experienced what we did here. The manager walked into our room by using her own key card while we were occupying the room the first night. Busted through the door not 10 minutes after checking in at 10 at night, stared like a deer in headlights and never explained why. She watched us check in, she knew where we were sent. There were no rooms occupied around us. We felt uncomfortable but were tired and just went to sleep. Fast forward to night two, after a day at SDC my husband ran me a bath and while I was in it, and my husband in a towel, it happened again. This time the deadbolt stopped her. She said the room under us was flooding, acted as though we were up there doing it for fun. I honestly yelled at her, I was so mad. The room under us was empty, and not flooded at all. There was a bucket under what looked like years old leak damage that was molding and mostly dry. I was even more upset, there was no emergency and no reason for her to walk in our room. I repeatedly asked why she had done this twice now and she never would say anything other than "I say sorry, sorry" and "You were flooding rooms" which was a weird lie that I didn't see any proof of. I immediately let Expedia know and we got our money back for one night and left. So weird.

One night last minute

I booked a one night stay last minute. Could not beat the rate. The property has been updated. The room was super clean. No “motel smell”. Everything looked fresh. Bed was comfortable. It was a great, economical stay.

Good Spot, Great Price

Decent location if you're interested in exploration in the theater district. The woman working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough, and clean. The pool, while small and older, was the perfect temperature. My only real grievance was that I wasn't able to get the TV to work. Unfortunately, it wasn't until after 10 PM that I got to try the TV out, so the front desk was closed and I didn't really want to see if I could find anyone to bother about it. All in all, at the extremely-low price point for this motel, the centralized location within the theater district, and the decent comfort of everything, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Just check your TV while the office is still open.

Adequate for the price.

We would not stay again, all though it did serve its purpose as a one night stay for our family in Branson. Both of our rooms were supposed to be smoke free but one smelled of smoke. This was not like other similarly high rated hotels (guest rating) that we’ve stayed in, in the past, but was adequate for the price.
