Uusittu vuonna 2017 uusilla laatoilla, laskulla, uudella jääkaapilla, uudella mikroaaltouunilla ja terasseilla, jotka poistavat vanhan maton. Aivan Rt 421-silta, joka kulkee South Holston -järven yli, olemme vieressä, mutta erillään Laurel Marinasta. Tämä Lake House ominaisuuksia sunroom den .. kahdeksan suurta ikkunaa overlooking South Holston Lake ympäröivät vuoristoinen Cherokee National Forest.
Sinulla tuntuu olevan suuri puumaja, jossa villieläimet ovat silmätasolla. Meidän venelaituri on kytketty portaita talon järvelle sallii vieras vene, telakka ja uida lahti meidän telakka.

South Holston Lake on koskematon järvi, jossa on upeat vuoristomaisemat. Puulattiat ympäröivät taloa ja sijaitsevat Laurel Marina Yacht Clubin vieressä. Talo kalustettu foosball, näppäimistön syntetisaattori, minigolf biljardipöytä. Appalakkien polku on vain muutaman kilometrin päässä. Moottoripyöräilijät tietävät, että rt 421-silmukka on "Snake" ... se on hyvin suosittu viikonloppuisin.

Talo näkymät järvelle, jolla on oma eristetty lahti, josta pääsee helposti Abingdon tai Bristol Raceway. Kanootti on käytettävissä. Alueella on erinomainen kausiluonteinen kalastus ja metsästys. On upeat näkymät. Lodge on hyvin kalustettu keittiöstä kylpyyn. Otat vain ruokaa. Voit uida ja nauttia ulkona lämmitetty suihku (kaudella)

Toiminta lähellä tätä 26 kilometriä pitkä järvi ovat: järvi rannat veneily, vesihiihtoa, Whitewater melonta / melonta, koskenlasku, hiihto, kalastus, pelejä, rentouttava, vaellus Appalachian Trail, Bristol Motor Speedway (maaliskuun lopulla ja elokuussa) Lights (track lite show), Barter ja Paramount teatterit, Bristol Caverns, vuorikiipeily, Dollywood, Tinseltown (elokuvat), National Forest, pioneeri historia sivustoja, järvi uinti, venevuokraus, ratsastusta, luhistua, Bristol, Country of Country -musiikkia. Syyskuussa syyskuun puolivälissä järjestetään maan musiikkifestivaali nimeltä Rhythm and Roots.

We were in town for the Nascar races at Bristol. This is a great location to get away for some peacefulness but still be close to the track. This house is a well-kept, clean house, with a great view. Plenty of seating inside and out. The only issue we had was that this house was listed as a 5 bedroom (2 Queen, 4 Double, 1Twin) sleeping 12. When we showed up there were only 4 bedrooms (2 Queen, 2 Double, 1 Twin), one bedroom of which you must walk through in order to get to another bedroom. We went from having 7 beds to 5. This made it interesting finding sleeping arrangements for the 9 of us when not everyone married or small in size. We did make do sleeping on couches but not at all what we were expecting, nor what was listed when we reserved the hours. The landlord did update after we reached out but still does list too many beds, as of when we left the house there were 2 queens, 2 doubles, 1 twin, and a futon. Very disappointed with the landlord who would not work with us on this, we didn't even get a "sorry, we did mess that up".

Great stay again this year. The house is exactly what we need. We are on the lake all and the house is convenient to the many areas we hang out at on the water. Delta Blues at Laurel Marina is wonderful. We did grill a lot again this year and had big breakfast each morning. New cookware and extra serving bowls is greatly needed. This home was absolutely perfect for our family. The location is perfect. We enjoyed swimming and the dock in our own little private cove. The proximity to laurel marina is also perfect. The home is very beautiful and clean with impeccable views. Our dogs were also very happy to be able to join us at the lake! 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to return!

Overall fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic stay and I do plan to go back. 15 minutes from the race track, lots of a options near the property to buy essentials and fishing gear. Dock was a great area to fish and hang out. Host had great communication as well!

Barnard, was very communicative. The place was great fit for me and my family for Christmas. slept everyone comfortably.The only negative I have is there was dust and the bathtub was dirty. Like how a house gets dirty when no been around for awhile. Other than that I would definitely suggest for a lake side vacation.

Easy, friendly check in. Communication was great.

Property was as described. Beautiful area not far from Bristol. We attended NASCAR night races and it was very convenient from race track. Visited downtown Bristol each day to explore food and activities. Close to Bristol caverns which kids enjoyed. Would love to come back to area and explore more.

Great stay. Probably my favorite rental. Bernard was awesome and available, the location was perfect and the house was everything we needed. Easy access to the water, marina down the street. There are steps lol There are spiders, webs, and insects outside. You are in the woods! but the house was clean and homey.

Beautiful view

The lake house has a beautiful view. Plenty of room for the family, lots of steps kept us exercising! It could use a deep cleaning though, especially the bathrooms, and there was mice mess on one of the beds. The kitchen was clean and had sufficient pans etc, but not 1 sharp knife. Lots of deck area for sitting outside.

Disappointed

We seen the reviews and thought they may have been exaggerated. I can handle rustic, however, the house was dirty, cobwebs everywhere, dangerous steps... We were embarrassed to have our family there. On a positive note it was the most beautiful view I have ever seen.

South Dakota to Bristol

Nice property. Is on 3 levels which wasn’t a problem. A few lights were out in different areas of the house. The motion light in front didn’t work. We enjoyed the area and the house, it was everything that the post said. We would stay again, very relaxing. Would recommend it.

Our second time renting this property

This was our second time renting this house. We love the lake views, the private boat dock, and proximity to Laurel Marina—it’s all about spending time on South Holston Lake for us. There’s a LOT of stairs which may be difficult if you have older family members, but overall it’s a really great rental home for people who enjoy nature and the beauty of Tennessee!!

Great Holiday Week

We had our family with us to ring in the New Year. There were a few quirks to the home, but everything worked well and it was an accommodating home for all of us and our dogs. I appreciated the prompt communication with Bernard. Since we visited in December, we did not use the lake, but there was plenty to do at the house and in Bristol.

There were million dollar views. The stairs were dangerous.House was dirty.

We felt blessed that there were no injuries on the stairs. As the outdoor stairs were not very stable & lacked treads on the steps. The screen door at kitchen was broken, table was wobbly, the drain board in kitchen was filthy, sink in master bath area was very dirty, bath tub was dirty as was the floor. The kitchen was not very nice. The lighting in the house was not good on stairways. Some lights made noises when turned on. The circular stairs to the third floor were not very stable. We enjoyed the views from the house & enjoyed the area. There were no bath mats, hand towels. An area rug in the living room would have helped with the cold floors. The house was not really acceptable for anyone in their 60’s or older. Actually we felt we were in great grandma’s house with million dollar view! So many old / out dated decorations that were dusty & unattractive! Pictures on VRBO were nicer than what we actually found in the house! We were blessed to have had a wonderful family time - due to the fact that we were able to adjust to the oddities of the house.

Great Views in Bristol

Overall we really enjoyed our time. We rented the home for a family vacation and enjoyed having everyone in the same home. The views from the home were stunning and we enjoyed grilling/eating out on the deck. Although listed as a 4 bedroom it lives like a 3 bedroom because you must walk through the loft space which has no door to get to the 4th bedroom. Since we had couples this was an issue for us. We thought about moving one couple to the sunroom which is listed as additional sleeping space but there are no shades or blinds of any kind so it would have been impossible to sleep there. That being said we enjoyed hanging out in the sunroom it is just not conducive as a sleeping area. Overall a nice home just be aware that there are only 3 private sleeping areas.
