The people were super friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Our neighbors were relatively quiet. The bed was comfortable. With that being said, the room was not clean. The bathroom was dirty (see pic) and we had to move the bed to plug in a lamp and there was trash under the bed and behind the side table. I did not bring it to their attention because I was tired and just wanted to rest and the bed was clean. They seemed like nice people and I am sure they would have done something to remedy the issue if I had said something.

Stay at your own risk. Bedding was dirty at check-in but quickly fixed. Pet hair everywhere. They’re understaffed, but staff complained about working there to seemingly everyone, all rooms were running out of towels, dumpster was full, so trash was pilling up in our room, no turn down service and we were there 3 days, floors will dirty, but the water could get nice and hot. I seriously think they should shut down the operation until things improve. If you’re in a financial bind and/or need a view of the ocean if standing on a chair then book it but the Americoast in across the street is much nicer.

Room #52 look dated, dirty with moldings and corners discolored and has not been wiped for a long time. Towels are very small, old and looked like rugs. Not a single chair nor table is available in the room. Location is very good since it is close to Samuel B State Park. Fridge and microwave are a plus in the room.

The bed was uncomfortable. The room was cold and there was no heating system. The toilet was leaking and management was disinterested. We booked 2 nights and left after one night.

The room smelled, bathroom was so gross, shower didnt drain, to small to use, towels felt like sandpaper. Only positive was there were 3 beds in the room so was good for our party of 5. I would never stay there again, in fact this room has turned me against ever returning to Brookings.

It appeared that work had been done very nicely,but the bathroom was not quite up to par…windows were great, beds comfortable good covering on windows.paint was fresh..old desk, the outside was rough,and we always had trouble getting out..car was parked across from us and big truck beside us ..and we had a small car,but it was a tight squeeze ..staff was great and helped quickly….coffee and clean towels…

Nice Motel

A nice place for price, don’t expect the Ritz, it’s just a nice motel. You can park directly in front of your room, no carpet on the floor, and pet friendly for those who have one. Bed was relatively comfortable, sheets were clean, and usb outlets on the lamps if needed. The rooms are all on one level. We stayed close to the road, which you can hear, but didn’t bother us. Ask for one of the rooms further away if that is a concern.
