Uusi vuokra vuodelle 2018 ja hiljattain remontoitu. Nauti järvestä upeilla näkymillä. Yksi parhaimmista eristä järvellä. Saatavana ympäri vuoden. Se sijaitsee suuressa rauhallisessa "ei herätä" -lahtissa noin 25 minuutin päässä I95: stä. Kaunis hiekkaranta, melkein 100 metriä pitkä, suuri uima-allas ja aurinkoinen telakka, turvatarkastus kuistilla venelaitoksessa, kylpytynnyri seulotulla alueella, kaunis vesiputous ammattimaisen maisemoinnin kanssa, lempeä kaltevuus rantapaikalle, vihreän asettaminen, kokkokuoppa, riippumatto, paljon aurinko ja varjo, portaat veteen ja paljon muuta. Järven edessä on paljon viihdyttäviä tiloja, joista saa upeita muistoja. Valentine Housella on oma yksityinen veneramppi ja hieno kalastus. Lähes 300 jalkaa rantapaikkaa sekä syvälle että matalaan veteen. Olemme yksi harvoista paikoista, joissa on Comcast Internet. Melontavene, kajakki ja joitain vesileluja nautinnon mukana.
Talo on hiljattain remontoitu tänä vuonna, kaikki uudet keittiöt ja kylpyhuoneet (tulevat valokuvat). Suuri suuri huone, jolla on valtavat ikkunat ja upeat näkymät järvelle. Pääkerroksessa sijaitsevat 3 makuuhuonetta, jotka ovat helppo pääsy lapsille tai eläkeläisille. Master-sängyt ovat aivan uusia ja mukavia. Makuuhuoneen sviitti, jossa on king-size-vuode, kaunis kylpyhuone, suurella suihkulla, ja ranskalaiset ovet, jotka johtavat sivukuistiin. Toinen makuuhuone, jossa king-size-vuode ja ovi, joka johtaa toiselle puolelle kuistilla. Kolmas makuuhuone on täysikokoinen sänky. Toisessa kerroksessa on 4. makuuhuone, jossa on 2 erillistä vuodetta. 2. kerroksessa on 5. makuuhuone, jossa kerrossänky, jossa on ulosvedettävä vyö. Toisen kerroksen parvella on sohva, jossa on myös vyö. Suuressa avoimessa keittiössä on kaikki uudet laitteet ja paljon säilytystilaa. Paljon ruokia, lasit, kattilat ja pannut, tarjoiluastiat, tippuva kahvinkeitin, leivänpaahdinuuni, tehosekoitin ja paljon muuta käytettävissäsi. Suuri pöytä ruokailuun ja baarin istuminen myös tiskillä. 60 tuuman televisio, blue ray -soitin ja paljon DVD-levyjä upeassa huoneessa sateisiin päiviin. Jalkapallo pöytä parvella, jossa on paljon pelejä sekä nuorille että vanhoille. Suuri propaanigrilli patiolla.
     20 minuutin päässä Lake Anna State Park -puistosta, jossa on paljon retkeilyreittejä. Ruokaleijona on noin 20 minuutin päässä. 30 minuuttia King's Dominioniin. 10 minuutin päässä Annan järven viinitilasta.
Veneilyssäsi olet lähellä järven leveintä osaa ja Dike 3, joka on yksi järven parhaista kalastuspaikoista. On venevuokrausvenesatama järven vastapäätä meidän lahti, noin 5 minuutin venematka.
Kesällä vuokrat ovat saatavilla vähintään 6 päiväksi sesonkiaikana (muistopäivä työvoimapäivään). Sisäänkirjautuminen kesällä vain lauantaina tai sunnuntaina. Kesällä kassalla vain perjantaina tai lauantaina. Sesongin ulkopuolella vuokrat ovat saatavilla vähintään 3 yötä.

The property is amazing. It had so much to see and do right on site, and the views were awesome. Elderly folks could sit inside or outside to enjoy views while the younger folks paddled, played on the beach, searched for shells, and played games. The middle generation could relax in the hot tub and sip wine by a blazing fire. Only shortcoming was some lightbulbs didnt work, but that doesn't affect the full experience.

Lovely cozy lake house for our big family ! Kitchen supplied with everything for cooking meals ! We loved being right on the water with the beach for the campfire. Fishing was great. Such a beautiful home. Check in was easy. The amenities were outstanding. Two kayaks and a paddle boat. Games galore. A fire pit. Any time I had a question all I did was message the owner and she got back to me within minutes. The kitchen had everything that was needed. Things like tape and scissors and string and a sharps. Things that are easily forgotten when packing. Many food storage items. My family had a wonderful time. The view was gorgeous. Plenty of room. From the moment I booked until the moment I checked out Nanette was always there to respond to my questions. A nice screened in porch by the dock. I would recommend this home completely. Thank you for all you did to make our stay wonderful.

Amazing Property!

This is our fourth year staying on this property. We LOVE it so much. The house is gorgeous. The property is beautiful. The location on the lake is perfect for jetskiing and tubing. The house is well stocked. The fact that the linens are included is such a plus!The interactions with the host is always wonderful. We already have our stay booked for next summer!

The property is well kept, clean, and family friendly. Our kids loved everything about the property from hunting for Bigfoot in the woods, making sandcastles, to perfecting their putting skills. The water around the enclosed dock was deep enough to jump in without touching the bottom as well which is a bonus for the adults that don’t like that feeling!

Fantastic!!

Can’t say the word fantastic enough! From the house, to the property, to the host. It was everything we hoped for plus some. Nanette was the best host I have ever worked with and we have stayed at our fair share of vacation rentals over the years. Incredibly responsive to every question I had leading up to the trip and during. We have been coming to Lake Anna for years now, and rent a different house every time (some summers we have taken 2 trips) hoping to find “the one”. Well we have found it. The house is well cared for and has everything you need, even speciality kitchen items that I packed because no vacation house ever has them! They have thought of everything. And the property.. wow! Just gorgeous. People were stopping in the cove just to compliment the property. There is sunny, there is shady and space for everyone to spread out. The location of the property is also great. It’s on the quieter end of the lake. If you are thinking about renting this property.. just do it! But please don’t book the week we want to come. We are already looking forward to next year!!

Restful retreat

We love Valentine House! This was our second stay. The location and views of the lake are magnificent. The house is beautifully appointed and, kitchen well provided and amenities fabulous. Rooms are super comfortable and spacious. Cable TV would be nice but that’s the only drawback.

Amazing Vacation!

This is our first VRBO experience and can’t say enough great things. The property was absolutely stunning. We spent most of our stay in the screened in porch/swimming off the dock. The littles very much enjoyed playing in the sand and splashing around at the beach. The house was comfortable and fully stocked with ALL the kitchen supplies you could think of. We are sad to see that this property is not available next summer because it was hands down, the best house we have ever stayed in!

Amazing Property

This is our 3rd time staying at this wonderful property. The location is amazing. We bring our jetskis and it is a perfect place for tubing. The house is absolutely perfect. All amenities are more than we could ask for. The property is gorgeous. The waterfall, beach and hot tub are all fantastic!

Beautiful stay in Lake Anna

The house, property and lake were beautiful and the owner was very responsive and forthcoming with information. We had three families, all with children, staying for a week (6 adults and 5 kids). We spent the majority of the time in the water and on a boat (rented locally). The beach area was great for the little ones, and the dock was deep enough for the big kids and adults to jump off of. The cove we were on was quiet and the end of the lake we were on was much quieter for tubing, unlike the other side of the lake. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, but it was clean and in good condition. We typically have four families on our vacation, but if the time comes where we only have three again we would absolutely return. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Lake Anna Gem

This week was perfect way to end a busy summer. We could definitely see coming back and exploring even more of Lake Anna. It was a week that didn’t fly by too fast as most vacations do. This property itself was in one word - amazing. From large dock to jump in the lake from or sunbathe to beach area to the hammock in the trees to fire circle to boathouse and kayaks to waterfall feature and to one of my favorite spots. One of my favorite spots was the small deck area closer to boat house. It provided great view of property and easy to watch anyone swimming in front of dock. Selfishly, I do wish I could keep this gem a secret. (So that it doesn’t book up too fast and we can come back here.). I can see why the owners fell in love with this property and how they creating a great house on the lake.

In love with The Valentine House

We have been staying at the Valentine House for 1 week over the last few summers and every time has been wonderful. The house and its location are perfect and feels private, but still close to go tubing or take the boat out. The beach area is lovely with soft sand and very few rocks to worry about. The boathouse is screened in and perfect to hang out in. The house is beautiful and Nanette does such a great job of making you feel like your vacation going well is as important to her as it is to you. She is responsive and gracious. We love the house and area so much that we have already booked again for next year and can’t wait to be back at the Valentine House.

Paradise!

We had the absolute best experience! From the beginning of booking all the way to leaving, our experience was wonderful. The property owner is kind, attentive and communicative. The house was beautiful with space for our family of 6 to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and felt like home. The house is beautifully updated. The outside is gorgeous with amazing landscaping and many spaces to explore and play different sports and activities. We enjoyed the boat house ALOT and the sandy beach was a hit for us all. The lot is perfectly situated in a private area that still had gorgeous views. We loved the ability to be in full sun or shade at any point of the day. Thank you! We will be back!!
