Outdated. Surface clean (not deep cleaned). Musty smell from bathroom. Noisy unit day/night out the back of the 224 area. A/C unit very loud. Upon check in staff did not make us aware of using the sister hotel or shuttles. Noisy pool area with competing music and conversations. Pool staff hard working and lovely. Went for a free coffee at 6:50am in the lobby but was turned away because not available until 7am. Had to pay at pool. End of stay the staff “forgot” to include $50 resort credit in final bill and daily activity fee and tax due upon check out. Activities included a day of bingo at the pool and another game on another day. Otherwise during two tropical storms most things shut down.

The property itself was average. Definitely not new but overall clean. Location is perfect, very walkable with plenty of dining options and shopping if that's what you are into. Staff was friendly and the pool area is great. Close to everything in the downtown area. Rooms are in need of a refresh. The air conditioning system is frustrating. The fan never shuts off and it blows right on the bed. We had a few issues with bugs. Overall it was fine for our stay because we weren’t in the facility much.

Decent property. Elena and Jose did a great job and Leonel is just a bundle of joy! However, there was a roach in the room and we ordered 2 plates of tacos (6 total tacos), a small pizza and two ice cream cones. Dinner was over $100 for something that’s otherwise fairly cheap ($30 max outside). Wouldn’t recommend dining in the hotel but do recommend staying.

Marina Fiesta can't be beat. The staff are always friendly and having been there often consider them almost family. The location right next to a splendid mall and the entertainment which is close enough but far away enough that there are no party noises to disturb me. Wendy the GM, Carmina the front desk manager were very accommodating recognizing me as a familiar guest. The front desk staffed by (I don't know every employee) but Irving, Eric, Nicole, Alondra, Tamara helped me out on so many occasions I can't count. I often would eat and relax by the pool and Fernando the F&B manager does a great job with his team including Juan, Ricardo, Jennifer, Diego (there are others like the folks that made the excellent meals or staff I did not meet) and then Ugo would often be by the pool entertaining guests with fun games. The security and lobby atmosphere is kept safe and friendly with people like Oscar, Debbie, Leonardo, Alfredo, Samuel, Artemis, and so many others. The market just below the pool is staffed during the day by Alejandra who was always helpful suggesting what Mexican branded vs US branded foods were good and always rang up my order in pesos with a smile. I know I am missing some of the staff so since I will definitely be back soon, I'll post an updated review then. For this trip Marina Fiesta gets 5 stars from me in every regard.
