We loved our quiet anniversary getaway here. The cottage was clean and well stocked - great wifi and hot water. The lake is gorgeous, we stayed in march so still iced over but we still loved spending the weekend under the stars and overlooking the beach. There's kayaks, a paddleboard, toys , the adorable tiki bar and fire pit and deck make it just a fantastic outdoor space.it was so peaceful and quiet and the fireplace is to die for. soft king bed, great bedding, comfy blankets and soft linens. The host was great, super fast communication and left the house warm for us and gave us firewood. We will be back and checking out the other cottage when it's warm outside. Thank you for sharing this cottage with us!

Communication with the property manager was excellent! I had immediate responses. Check in process was smooth. Beautiful view! Our daughter is a freshman at CMU. The home location is a very easy drive to campus. We would stay here again!

Roxy was great and she was very accomodating. The cabin had everything we needed and more. I was surprised at all the extras like bandaids, toothpaste, etc. in the bathroom. We loved the decor and lake view.

What a wonderful stay. The lake was so clear. We had a great stay. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The large bed was so comfortable and the whole place was so clean. Sitting outside by the lake was so peacful. We will definitely be back with our kids and grandkids next time. Perfect stay!

Great house on the lake!!!

Great host! This is an amazing place to stay, it’s right on the lake & it’s dog friendly. My family and I had a great time just hanging out on the private beach just relaxing. We will definitely be going back next year!

The house is decent, had what we needed but wasn't fully accurate to the listing. The driveway is super long, which is awesome, but not a half circle as indicated. A minor annoyance for us, but could be problematic for some. The fully stocked kitchen did have plates, cups, silverware, dish soap and sponges, along with some trash bags. There was no toaster that we could locate, which would have been nice to have. There were some spices, salt and pepper, but all were expired by many years. There was also some bathroom items provided but some were pretty expired as well. There were 6 towels provided for the 4 of us, no beach towels - so be sure to bring your own. Although the listing says that there is a clothes dryer, there is not. Master bdrm has no door, more of a studio style setup. The queen bedroom also had a twin tucked in it. The 3rd bdrm with just the twin was creepy and we didn't use it - it's basically a closet. We also passed on the love shack. It's spacious and has a queen and a twin, but (as advertised), it is a separate building from the house. It reminded me of a hunting shack. Would be ok for adults but we weren't going to sleep in a separate building from our young kids. Our kids ended up sharing the queen size bed.

Family Lake Getaway

This is our second time staying here - and we loved it just as much as we did a few years ago. There is plenty of space for our kids, ranging from 7-13, to have their space and do what they love most (fish and swim). We brought a row boat, floating toys, and a paddle board and enjoyed as much time as we could soak in on the water. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Winter getaway

The cottage is great, the host is very friendly and responds to your needs right away. We went in the middle of winter so we weren't able to take advantage of all that was offered but would be looking into going back in the summer as we can see it it would be great to be right on our own beach.

Nice little cabin but listing is misleading

We were there in February to do some ice fishing. Host was very good to work with and cabin was clean but the listing is misleading. The listing shows 4 bedrooms but the one called the love shack is actually a little building behind the cabin that is not heated and therefore not available during the winter. The cabin actually has "3" bedrooms, a master with no door, another with a queen and a twin and another twin in what I would call a closet. We made it work and had a good time.

Great value!

The price for a beachfront property is unreal! We had our own little slice of heaven on the beach AND had kayaks to play on. There are tons of sleeping options provided for the price. The house is small and the neighbors are close so it didnt feel very private but each encounter was friendly regardless. We had a few issues upon arrival including: a fruit fly problem throughout the house, dirty/sandy dishes and bed sheets (on one bed), and an overall lacking of kitchenware essentials (eg, foil, pizza pan, casserole pan). We were able to clean some of the issues with provided cleaning equipment and bought a few things at the local family dollar. Overall great price for the beachfront property and kayaks.

Love this cottage and location

LOVED everything except the fact there is no hand rail on either deck- we are all in our mid 70’s and the steps were a little hard to navigate Including the two steps inside from the little room off the lakeside deck into the living room. I would love to come back with my sisters and friends if you would consider hand rails or a ramp? Loved the cottage otherwise so clean and comfy and had everything we needed

Perfect Beach

I can't say enough about the back yard and beach!! My son had a blast running through the yard, swimming, building sand castles, you name it. We all enjoyed the easy and relaxing water access. My sisters and I took the kayaks out every day. It was picture perfect the entire week! Love love lied our stay!!

Fun spot for family vacation

Home was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the big backyard and the beach, the water was clean and clear and great for swimming. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Host was very kind and available quickly for any issue that may arise.

We enjoyed our quick stay! A little lake house on a perfect little lake for kids. Was warm and had all the sand toys and life jackets for them! House was old and dated but very clean for a lake house.

Perfect Beach Vacation

We had so much fun on our trip. The cottage was very clean and cozy. It was so nice to be able to walk down to the beach rather than packing up the car to drive to a beach. We loved being able to kayak to the connecting lakes. The tiki bar was a nice place to keep a cooler with drinks and snacks for the beach or to get out of the sun. My family agreed they would love to go back.
