We liked the location and ease of the free parking. Only a 20 to 30 minute walk on a beautiful promenade to restaurants, shops, and marinas. The room was a nice size fo 2 of us. We only received a very quick daily room cleaning. No sheets changed or towel removal. Biggest problem was the wifi. Do not try to stream or do more than check email. Worst I have seen in years.

The staff were lovely, but the rooms are dated and need renovation. Carpets don't do well in Tropical North Queensland, tend to retain smells no matter how hard to clean it... But the staff were really great.

Great 4 day stay! Hotel was in good location and facilities were great. Clean throughout. Room was very spacious for 3 people, with kitchenette facilities. Food and drinks were reasonably priced.

The hotel is pretty old. Based on the design and furniture, it has not been renovated for many years. The chair is dirty and has some yellow stains. There are stains and mold between shower tiles, and the tub is very slippery. many small flying bugs on ceiling and walls.

Really happy with our choice. The room was spacious, liked being set back from the road, as no traffic noise. Lovely views from our verandah. Staff were really accommodating. Would recommend the breakfast buffet, lots of variety.

Great staff

Caring staff, I fell outside the hotel trying to man handle bags onto my back. The staff were there in seconds, helping me and taking my bags. The manager, Adrian took my bags to my room, came back with ice packs and informed me that if I needed he could organise medical help. The restaurant had a small but appetising menu and again the staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked the King sea view suit and it did not disappoint. The location of this hotel was perfect as it’s right next to the esplanade which is lovely for a walk into the centre Cairns. The hotel staff were professional and kind.
