Rooms very poor condition. Old towels small tv coffee maker old fashioned once.So find in bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap that’s all and bathrobe two nights in a row there are mini fridge with drinks all night I have to go and ask and the other night I just said forget it you cannot sleep at night from the noise, screaming loud music, drunk young adults so maybe younger people enjoy that but for my age mid 50s I will never go back there. We were there in 2014. It was way much better. Service quality of food was better and I forgot one thing the restaurants they don’t have anything to purchase just all inclusive that means nothing special there.

Riu was a beautiful hotel coming into the lobby, and the amenities were great! The rooms could use some updating and hopefully one update is a exhaust fan in the bathrooms, and a fresh coat of paint in the rooms and some on the exterior. The staff was amazing, very attentive and kind, shout out to Hermes in the Japanese resturant, who made our experience quite nice. I enjoyed my stay and will be returning again, and stay a little longer. There is a nice although humid strip mall across the street, and a pharmacy should have forgotten something from home.

It was truly wonderful in almost every aspect. The only negative was the two beds pushed together versus a king or even a queen for that matter. I was surprised about the extra 300 plus charge for tax when I arrived, I must of missed it on Expedia. Overall an incredible property with caring staff that is constantly working at keeping the property near perfect!!!! The beach was aslo outstanding to anything I've ever experienced.

I genuinely enjoy the pools, and the resort is close to everything. However, the rooms need to be cleaned more frequently. The bedskirt in my room had stains all over it. The buffet staff also needs better training. They provide different levels of services based on people's race. I don't understand why people have to request coffee and condiments daily for the room, and then they don't even deliver them.

Absolute trash. Do not book here unless you want to be scammed. They over booked our original room and will not give me the $3000 refund I am entitled to. Good luck getting any help if something goes wrong. The room keys only work half of the time and it’s a 10 minute walk to the front desk and back. Very inconvenient and unprofessional. This place was all amazing! What disappointed me was that we got asked for passports to check in. While we arrived to Mexico with real ids from USA. The food was also bland not good at all and cheap alcohol. I say if you’re not picky about that it’s 10/10 amazing views I would return.

The restaurants and food are actually pretty good and so is the service. The bartenders are wonderful. The entertainment at night is just mediocre and loud. I liked the beach. Cancun and the whole area is just sort of crowded and dense. It depends on what you are looking for.
