This was a great place to stay the staff were super nice and helpful, however the only down fall is that there was barely any parking, and most of it was meant for small cars or they had pylons in the way so I had to park at a near by shop but aside from that it was great:)

Parking is tight when full and the train is very loud at night. Otherwise great property, if you’re in a budget this is a nice place to stay. Would stay here again.

Unfortunately, I didn’t really enjoy my stay here. Upon checking in the door code that was given to me did not work, so I had to go to the reception three times to sort it out. In the room there were prints on the bathroom faucets. The AC/heating unit was working loudly all night so I didn’t sleep very well.

The lodge itself was very clean and cozy. The shared kitchen and living area were very tidy, everything you need available there. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly! It was very affordable and it felt like a home away from home. Whenever I get the chance to visit Canmore and Banff again I will definitely be booking with Basecamp lodge!
